"Not good… Cheng Sheng will lose sooner or later… ugh…" Qian Shan spoke as he placed Qian Su down who fell unconscious.
"The… excess qi I… gave to him earlier… that's what he is using now…" Su Yuan spoke as he breathed heavily. He was impaled on his chest. Fortunately, it didn't reach his heart, or else…
"How about we give him our qi?" Li Nanzi asked as he kicked a piece of wood away from his body.
"Wu Ran won't give us nor Cheng Sheng the chance." Zheng Fu Gong said as he bandaged Zheng Yi's wound on his back. "We will also be as good as dead if we did once Wu Ran finishes with Cheng Sheng and turn to attack us." He said.
"So, we'll just leave Cheng Sheng to die?!" Tang Teng asked.
"We won't." Zheng Fu Gong said. "He won't die." He told them. His voice is filled with conviction.
Silence fell.
"Cheng… shixiong… won't die…" Lei Ling spoke as he weakly opened his eyes.
"Ah Ling!" Lei Qing cried.
"Ling Ling…" Jing Kang called as he turned his head to Lei Ling.
"Jing Kang!" Jing Hei cried in surprise.
"Lan! Lan!" they heard Fan Wen's voice called.
They turned and saw Fan Wen pulling Xie Lan out of the destroyed cabin while he crawled. His leg is bleeding after it was crushed and then was deeply cut earlier.
"Shifu… founder…" Lei Qing called and cried.
"Ugh…" You Rou grunted as she pushed away the table that fell on them earlier. "Shifu? Founder…?" she called when she saw them two. Then, her tears fell. With shaking hands, she took out all the bottles of magic pills and potions that she has.
"Ha." Feng Mo breathed as he pulled himself up. Then, he went and helped You Rou treat Fan Wen's and Xie Lan's wounds.
"Jie… I'm fine. I can rest…" Lei Ling spoke. "Treat the others for now…" he told her.
Lei Qing wiped the tears off of her face and then took so dicines before she went to treat the other people's wounds. Jing Hei saw them and he also took so dicines to treat Jing Bai's wounds. Jing Cheng just lost consciousness and fortunately wasn't injured.
Qian Lin opened his eyes and then saw everyone. He sighed and then turned to wake his mother and Qian Tian. Then, he notified his father that he'll help the Xinfaxian Sect disciples to treat everyone.
Zheng Fu Gong, Su Yuan, Li Nanzi and Tang Teng lie their backs on the broken wall of the ship and watched Cheng Sheng keep Wu Ran's attention away from them for them to recover their strength and from their injuries.
Cheng Sheng used talismans, then spells, array, then talismans before he used his sword and Exploding Pills, and switched after to poisons to stall for ti. Wu Ran is aware of Cheng Sheng's intention to buy ti, but he doesn't care. He needs to kill Cheng Sheng, and he knows that even if the others would recover, but Xie Lan, the most threatening for him, won't imdiately recover while Zheng Fu Gong isn't a threat to him anymore, since he lost too much power.
Even if Qian Tian, Chen Jing, Wu Fan and Xi Ling would combine to attack them, but like Zheng Fu Gong, they lost too much of their power. Their dicines must be also now limited. Thus, no one would be able to fight him. No one can threaten him anymore!
His eyes flashed a vicious light and the speed and power of his attacks increased!
Cheng Sheng's eyes flashed in alarm and imdiately used array to teleport himself but Wu Ran is faster than him! "Ugh!" he grunted when he was kicked and his body hit the ship!
Everyone was still pondering for their counterattack when they saw sothing flew past them. BANG!
Jing Hei who was almost hit felt his knees weakened and he collapsed. Then, through the dust, he saw who it was. His eyes widened in shock. "CHENG SHENG!" he exclaid as he imdiately crawled towards Cheng Sheng and carefully moved him. "Cheng Sheng! Cheng Sheng! Hang in there! Cheng Sheng! Can you hear ?!" he asked.
Zheng Fu Gong and the others who heard Jing Hei's voice was startled. They sharply turned and saw Cheng Sheng's body is full on wounds. "Cheng Sheng!" they cried.
Suddenly, they heard footsteps. Then, they heard Wu Ran's voice spoke. "Is he your ace weapon against ? Just so-so." He said as he stood in front of them.
"Wu Ran…" they muttered as they looked at him, wide eyes in horror. They saw him walked towards Cheng Sheng who is lying on the ground.
"He's your hope?" Wu Ran asked as he stopped right in front of Cheng Sheng and Jing Hei.
"Jing Hei – " Jing Kang called, suddenly got a bad feeling. But, it was too late.
"No matter. I'll just kill him, and then every last one of you." Wu Ran said and turned to Jing Hei who was frozen in fear. "You're in the way." He said and raised his hand to kick Jing Hei's head.
Qian Lin's pupils shrank. "JING HEIIIII!!!" he scread and was about to run towards Jing Hei when Qian Shan grabbed his feet. He fell face first on the floor. But, he ignored the pain and his bleeding nose. "JING HEI!!!" he scread when he saw Wu Ran's foot landed on Jing Hei's head, and blood sprayed.
Jing Hei's body toppled down. Their breaths hitched. It's as if ti has stopped moving, and so is everything.
"H-haah…" they heard soone released their breath that seed to be held for so long. "I… thought I'm going to die." A familiar voice spoke with a shaking voice.
"As if I'll let him kill anyone again." Another familiar voice spoke.
Everyone suddenly woke up and started. They saw that Wu Ran's foot was still raised in mid-air, and is bleeding! Sothing was stopping his foot, and is also bleeding.
"Ch – Cheng Sheng?!?!" they exclaid when they saw Cheng Sheng's body rose. Then, they turned and saw Jing Hei's body lying on the floor is still intact. His head is still there!
"JING HEI?!?!" Qian Lin and Jing Kang exclaid in shock.
Jing Hei didn't even catch his breath before he imdiately crawled away from Cheng Sheng and Wu Ran, who are equally dangerous. "Ah Lin!!! I was scared right then and there!" he cried when he reached Qian Lin.
Qian Lin stared at Jing Hei's face and suddenly had an epiphany. Being Jing Hei's lover is exhilarating, which makes him always feel tired. But, it isn't bad. What's bad if he'll lose the person. Anything else doesn't matter, as long as the person is there.
"Tch. You're really tenacious." Wu Ran clicked his tongue and withdrew his foot. His foot was bleeding, and also crooked. But, he acted as if he didn't see it or it didn't feel painful.
Cheng Sheng's left arm was also crooked and is bleeding after it blocked Wu Ran's kick that was supposed to behead Jing Hei. His hand is holding a dagger which impaled Wu Ran's foot. Then, his hand loosed and the dagger fell with a loud clang.
"That one is for Fei Yin." He said as he pulled himself up using his right hand, but coughed blood after.
"Cheng Sheng?!" they cried in alarm.
"Don't worry. I won't die." Cheng Sheng spoke as he carelessly wiped the blood off of his lips. He felt his lungs hurt after his chest was also hit earlier. He felt that he broke half of his ribs.
"You won't die? You won't let kill anyone? With just that body of yours?" Wu Ran asked as he condescendingly looked at Cheng Sheng. "Don't underestimate , brat." He said as he raised his sword.
"You're the one underestimating , old man!" Cheng Sheng said as he grabbed his sword that has fallen on the ground and blocked Wu Ran's attack!
"AAAH!!!" they exclaid as a strong gust of wind blew. Then, they opened their eyes, only to widen them in shock. "WHA – " they muttered when they saw that Wu Ran's and Cheng Sheng's figures are still. "What… what happened?!" they asked.
"I think…" Li Nanzi slowly spoke as he carefully looked at the two. "Both of them exhausted their energy." He said and coughed.
"Then – " Zheng Fu Gong stared at Wu Ran in shock. " – he's finally…" he muttered under his breath.
"Yeah." Tang Teng nodded. "Finally, he has weakened." He said and sighed in relief.
Zheng Fu Gong's jaw dropped in disbelief.
Wu Ran's eyes are bloodshot. His face is livid! "CHENG! SHENG!" he yelled as he kicked Cheng Sheng on the chest!
"AH! CHENG SHENG!!!" they shouted in alarm. Cheng Sheng is still injured, and is on the chest!
As expected, they saw Cheng Sheng spat out a mouthful of blood. "I've already gotten my revenge." He said as he grinned. "But, you still have debts to pay for them." He said and looked behind Wu Ran.
