Chapter 349: Chapter 347 Tang Rou

Qin Hao first gently shook his head, then said very embarrassedly, “It’s nothing else, just a bit hungry. Do you have anything to eat here?”

The girl quickly slapped her forehead at his words, then said, “Oh, I forgot about that. Just wait a mont, I’ll get you sothing to eat right away.”

After saying that, she hurriedly ran out. Qin Hao lay back on the bed, rested for a while, and she returned with a bowl of steaming porridge.

Seeing the bowl of porridge, Qin Hao felt instantly more satisfied. What he needed most at that mont was a bowl of steaming porridge to replenish his energy.

Soon, under the gentle care of the girl, Qin Hao finished a big bowl of porridge. The weak feeling all over his body felt slightly better.

It turned out that most of this weakness was caused by hunger. After eating, the girl cleaned up the dishes and then returned, her big watery eyes looking curiously at Qin Hao as she asked, “Um, may I ask, what is your na?”

Qin Hao smiled slightly, then said, “Just call

Mr. Ye, Ye as in night. And you?”

The girl nodded and said, “I’m Tang Rou. My family runs a dical clinic, and I happen to know so dical skills as well, so rest assured, I’ll prescribe you so more dicine to help you recover quickly.”

Hearing this, Qin Hao couldn’t help but smile. The injuries on his body were deep-rooted and could only recover with ti and rest, little by little. The dicine he concocted himself didn’t make much of a difference, let alone a small clinic like this.

However, of course, Qin Hao wouldn’t refuse Tang Rou’s kindness. He smiled and said politely, “Thank you very much.”

Upon hearing this, Tang Rou quickly waved her hand and said, “Mr. Ye, please don’t say that. It’s because you helped

out first that this happened. If there’s anyone who should be saying thank you, it should be .”

Qin Hao laughed lightly, and Tang Rou thought of his injuries, hesitated for a mont, and then asked, “Your injuries…”

“Don’t worry about it, rest is the best cure. You also don’t need to worry, my enemies won’t co here looking for , and they won’t bring you any trouble,” Qin Hao said.

Upon hearing this, Tang Rou’s face turned red and she said, “Mr. Ye, that’s not what I ant. I was just curious, your skills must be very impressive, right? Otherwise, with such serious injuries, you’d still be able to handle those little thugs.”

Seeing Tang Rou’s embarrassed and cute manner, Qin Hao also started laughing. He said, “Yes, even with just a tenth of my strength, dealing with those small-ti crooks is as easy as eating and drinking water.”

Tang Rou was even more surprised upon hearing this. Her expression showed no sign of disbelief, rather she covered her small mouth with a look of incredulity and said to Qin Hao:

“That’s amazing! Listening to you, you’re from Qingshan City, right?”

“Yeah, why, are you familiar with Qingshan City too?”

Tang Rou’s face imdiately bore an expected look and said, “Of course, I’m very familiar. I went to middle school in Qingshan City and lived there for many years. Plus, I have a very good best friend who’s also from Qingshan City.”

Hearing this, Qin Hao nodded and said, “What a coincidence.”

He said this, feeling a bit drowsy, and seeing his poor physical state, Tang Rou hurriedly decided not to disturb Qin Hao any longer, letting him rest well.

That night, Qin Hao slept in Tang Rou’s bed in her room, while Tang Rou made a floor bed nearby, and they managed for the night together.

Although Qin Hao also felt in his heart that as a grown man, taking over a young girl’s bed while she slept on the floor was quite inappropriate. However, he had exerted himself before, causing his injuries to beco unstable again, and was extrely weak, lacking the energy to dwell on this issue.

He slept heavily through the night, only waking up around noon the next day.

Tang Rou had already carefully prepared lunch, along with a bowl of healing dicinal soup.

Qin Hao ate the al and initially wasn’t planning to drink the dicine. But thinking of the girl’s earnest efforts, he drank it nonetheless. Upon drinking it, Qin Hao discovered that the formula of the dicinal soup had so rather unique qualities.

At the very least, this bowl of dicine actually had a slight effect on his injuries. Although the effect was very weak, given Qin Hao’s level of injury and strength, having any effect at all was quite an impressive feat.

Of course, if Tang Rou knew about this, she would probably be so frustrated she’d spit blood. Because the soup she gave Qin Hao was made from their Xuanhu dical Clinic’s secret recipe. Though the ingredients were ordinary, the effects were unexpectedly good.

It was precisely this recipe that allowed her father to open such a clinic here.

After lunch, and drinking the dicinal soup, Qin Hao took another nap for two hours. By the ti he got up again, the feeling of weakness had completely disappeared. He was back to his previous state.

All of this was thanks to Tang Rou’s ticulous care. Qin Hao felt extrely grateful in his heart. Although those petty thugs had caused him a lot of trouble, finding a place to heal like this was well worth it.

After his nap, he got out of bed, walking lightly around the room to get so exercise.

Tang Rou’s girlish room, like her personality, was filled with details befitting a very careful and gentle girl’s surroundings.

Qin Hao had just taken a few steps when he suddenly heard so noisy commotion from outside the door.

He quickly opened the door and walked out. The noise beca much clearer outside the door. From the sound, it seed to be coming from the first floor.

Tang Rou’s ho clinic had the second floor as their living space, while the first floor was a shop front used for dical consultations, with a fairly large area and two small wards at the back.

Qin Hao followed the stairs and made his way to the first-floor lobby, imdiately seeing a group of people carrying a stretcher and arguing about sothing.

Since the situation was unclear, Qin Hao didn’t approach rashly. Instead, he stood by the stairway, quietly observing.

His gaze swept around, noticing in the center of the crowd seed to be Tang Rou, a middle-aged man, and soone who seed to be a person he had seen the day before.

And just as Qin Hao was assessing the situation, the argunt in the hall was getting quite heated.

He Yan glanced at a man lying on the stretcher, then pointed angrily at Tang Rou’s father, a middle-aged man standing to the side, and cursed viciously:

“You quack doctor, now that you’ve killed my friend, I want you to go and pay with your life!”

After saying this, the dozen or so people he brought were also fervently angry, craning their necks to shout at Tang Rou and her family, “Yeah! The quack doctor killed soone treating them, he should quickly go pay for it with his life too!”

“Go die quickly; then you won’t harm anyone ever again!”

They shouted loudly, while Tang Rou’s face flushed red, quickly pointing at He Yan and saying, “He Yan! Don’t you dare falsely accuse! Your friend ca yesterday, my father only took a look and prescribed the most common calming and invigorating dicine. You said my father killed your friend, where’s the evidence!”
