Gu Qili finished washing up and ca out, finding that Mu Shuoqian was no longer in the room, and she felt relieved by his tactful withdrawal.

She walked over to the bed intending to lie down, but discovered that the blanket Mu Qinian had previously cuddled with was missing. anwhile, the little boy was sitting at the head of the bed, holding a toy car in his hand.

Gu Qili: "..."

"I am your mom."

"But you are also a woman," Mu Qinian said, clutching his blanket defensively as if afraid she would take advantage of him, "There’s a guest room downstairs. You sleep there tonight."

Gu Qili felt sowhat helpless. Being kicked out like this, how could she shalessly continue to linger? But before leaving, she couldn’t help but ask, "Did your dad teach you to say that?"

Mu Qinian waved his hand with a calm face: "Don’t always think of my dad as being so bad, sotis he is very reasonable."

Like when he buys him figurines, though these occasions are few and far between.

Gu Qili gave a strong sniff at him: I’m not accompanying."

"My, such a big person still throws a temper like a child," Mu Qinian shook his head,

Gu Qili closed the door, quite indignant. Mu Qinian’s change was too rapid, most likely instigated by soone.

What from outside?" A deep voice seed soaked in heavy rain’s moisture, sounding sowhat desolate.

"Niannian, go take a hot bath, it’s almost ti to eat," Gu Qili gently tugged at his arm.

Mu Qinian remained motionless.

Gu Qili smiled and squatted down: "Tired?"

"You would know if you ran a couple of laps," Mu Qinian rolled his eyes, suddenly got up energetically, his serious deanor made Gu Qili raise her eyebrows, making a "you have sothing to say?" expression.

"You’re my real mom, right?" Mu Shuoqian asked earnestly.

"Yes."

"Your dad does it for your own good," Gu Qili pinched his little belly, a feeling of despair in her helplessness, "Niannian, you are really too chubby."

Mu Qinian suddenly howled and rolled off the couch to the bathroom, Gu Qili heard him yelling in an off-pitch voice: "Fairy tales are all deceptive."

Gu Qili chuckled, lifting her head just to et Mu Shuoqian’s dark gaze, not knowing how long he had been watching her.

"Ti to eat." He ca over, and since she was squatting down, he reached out his hand in front of her, his palm clean, lines crisp and clear.

Gu Qili looked down at his palm, his life line was remarkably long, indicating a tough life type, but her focus soon shifted from his palm lines, lifting her head to et his calm gaze, "Mu Shuoqian, I want to know what you really an?"

"Sir, Miss Gu, ti to eat," the sound from Uncle Yu made her eyelids twitch, she lowered her head, walking past Mu Shuoqian to the dining table first.

Mu Qinian ca out from the bathroom, his eyes sweeping across the two adults with a sowhat resentful look, probably referring to the saying that neither dad loves nor mom cares about him. Dragged to run every day, and then getting disliked for being chubby.

"I’ll return to the winery later, and by the way, I’ll take Niannian to kindergarten," Gu Qili wiped the little boy’s mouth corner.

Mu Qinian didn’t say a word, but was secretly happy.

"Hmm," Mu Shuoqian put down his knife and fork, "Go by yourself, I have a eting later."

Unexpectedly agreeing so readily, Gu Qili was a bit slow to react but then nodded: "Okay."

Gu Qili had another reason for wanting to take Mu Qinian, which was that he had gotten stitches on his forehead due to a fight with soone.

With Gu Qili by his side, Mu Qinian felt a sense of pride and bravado, eagerly greeting several children who he normally wouldn’t bother talking to.

"Mu Qinian, who is this?" a child curiously asked, eyes sizing up Gu Qili, "This sister is really beautiful."

Mu Qinian lifted his chin, acting all proud: "Guess."

"Is it your sister?"

Mu Qinian: "..."

Gu Qili smiled and waved at the children: "Hello, I am Mu Qinian’s mom."

Hearing the word ’mom,’ Mu Qinian’s face suddenly flushed red, he hurriedly pressed down on his cap, not wanting others to see his delighted expression.

"Mu Qinian, if you don’t have a mom, it’s not shaful, is there a need to get a woman to pretend to be your mom?" Amidst everyone’s praise, an ever-discordant child voice rang out, Mu Qinian’s face abruptly turned red, his hair almost standing on end like a provoked little rooster: "Jin Xiaojun, shut your mouth."

Gu Qili turned around to see the boy Jin Xiaojun who Mu Qinian had ntioned, with a chubby woman standing next to him, her arm looped through a designer bag.

Her son spoke so rudely, yet she acted indifferent, not disciplining him and even took out a nut, peeled off the shell, and placed it in her son’s mouth, casually discarding the shell on the clean ground.

Gu Qili rembered that the child who fought with Mu Qinian was also nad Jin Xiaojun.

Thinking this, she grimaced and strode towards Jin Xiaojun’s mother.
