Chen Jiehui and Yi Yun did not expect to encounter him here.

Chen Jiehui silenced himself, coughing lightly with so embarrassnt. With his status, screaming with a young girl that appeared to be only seventeen or eighteen in a hospital corridor was indeed unbecoming. Being seen by acquaintances only made it seem like he was not magnanimous enough.

"Young Master Qian, what a coincidence." Chen Jiehui walked past Gu Qili to greet him, his hand already naturally reaching out. At this mont, he could only pretend that he did not recognize her.

However, Mu Shuoqian did not look at him; his gaze fell on the person who remained silent the whole ti.

She stood with her back to him, reaching only to his chest. Her jet-black hair was casually tied into a ponytail with a black elastic band, without any adornnt, simple and generous. The back of her red ears, next to so playfully curled tufts of fluffy hair, stuck tightly to her snowy white scalp.

She kept her head down all the ti, like an ostrich avoiding a sandstorm, obviously so frightened, yet still pretending to be composed. Her shoulders were too narrow and thin, as if they would break if the wind blew.

So when he took her hand, he could feel her trembling. After a faint struggle, she quieted down, her shoulders drooping, as if the breath she had been holding was finally letting go.

Mu Shuoqian’s chest moved closer, pressing against her back shoulder, his hand naturally wrapping around her shoulder.

Without a single word, when he left, he glanced slightly at Chen Jiehui, the angle so slight it could be asured with the smallest degree of a protractor. His tightly drawn lips also betrayed his many grievances – that expression was definitely not one of happiness.

"Young Master Qian, take care," Chen Jiehui said, still smiling in the direction of his departure, even if he had encountered a huge snub, while the onlookers who saw no excitent dispersed as well.

Yi Yun tugged at him in annoyance: "How could Xiao Gu be with him?"

Chen Jiehui felt even worse, who knew that the girl he had been scolding turned out to be related to Mu Shuoqian, and he didn’t know how much he had heard.

But upon further thought, he relaxed: "Just a sleeping partner, he’ll get tired of her after a few days. Yi Yun’s classmate said she specifically sleeps with upper-class n, I didn’t believe it at first, but now it seems true. However, she’s quite capable to latch onto Mu Shuoqian, just so small benefits thrown her way would be enough for her to spend a lifeti."

"Girls nowadays really don’t know self-respect." Yi Yun humd with disdain.

"I think that classmate of Yishu’s is not bad."

Yi Yun also smiled approvingly: "Right, her na is Hu Jiaojiao, right?"

"Anyway, all of them are better than this Gu Qili."

Gu Qili thought that once she turned the corner and was out of sight of everyone else, the hand on her shoulder would let go without reluctance. However, the warmth was still there, accompanying his unique scent of tobacco and mint, like a longstanding sachet at her side that could calm the mind upon slling it. For a mont, she actually did not want him to move away.

"Why are you at the hospital?" Looking down from the glass at the end of the corridor, one could see the vehicles shuttling back and forth on the road below. From afar, she seed to even sll the exhaust, and even from the third floor, she recognized the dazzling Maybach 62 in the parking lot at a glance.

"Snap"

The fla of the lighter flickered for a while before being extinguished. He tossed the lighter skillfully back into his jacket pocket and lazily placed the cigarette between his lips, giving her a laid-back look.

"Stomach ache."
