Li Manman stood with her arms crossed, looking at Ruan Xinyi with clear eyes filled with displeasure.
Ruan Xinyi adjusted her slightly disheveled clothes and retorted without hesitation, "Just because you’re standing in pajamas doesn’t an anything. Who knows where you wild won co from."
"Ha, I’m a wild woman? You’re not afraid of biting your tongue, are you?" With that, Li Manman walked to the door, opened it, and shouted downstairs, "Aunt Li, could you co up for a mont?"
Hearing Li Manman call for her, Aunt Li quickly put down what she was doing and headed upstairs.
"Ma’am, what can I do for you?"
Li Manman looked at Ruan Xinyi with disdain, a faint smile playing on her lips, "Little girl, do you know who I am now?"
When Ruan Xinyi heard Aunt Li address Li Manman as "Ma’am," her face froze.
Whether because she felt embarrassed from being caught laughing in bed by Li Manman or upset that Aunt Li called Li Manman "Ma’am," she suddenly shouted angrily, "Who knows if you’re so mistress? These days, mistresses can even get servants to call them madam. Stop putting on airs here. Madam? You sure are full of yourself."

Li Manman smirked with a sarcastic smile but couldn’t be bothered to waste any more breath with Ruan Xinyi. She ignored her and walked barefoot to the vanity to start putting on makeup since Han Xi had called earlier, asking them to co over for dinner tonight.
Ruan Xinyi, of course, sensed Li Manman’s disdain and ridicule, but with Feng Yi present, she couldn’t say anything offensive and felt frustrated, stuck between a rock and a hard place.
"Take the docunts and leave quickly," Feng Yi said impatiently.
