"Alright, let’s eat first, we can talk about everything else later."

Yu Shiyuan smiled through her tears; her heart was bleeding with pain. What Ling Haichen just said was truly hurtful.

She cried because she heard Qiao Hui Ping say that Little Fentuan would stay here with her from now on, not because she regretted anything or felt any heartache, as Ling Haichen presud.

After dinner, Yu Shiyuan took Little Fentuan to the living room. Previously, she could only see her son once a week. Although she longed to spend every day with him, she was afraid of becoming increasingly dependent on Little Fentuan and feared being trapped in this villa, so she restrained her feelings.

Now that she knew it was Ling Haichen, she was no longer afraid and didn’t want to run away anymore.

In the dining room, Ling Haichen put down his chopsticks and wiped the corner of his mouth with a napkin: "Mom, I’m going to work."

"Alright, will you be back for lunch?"

In the past, Ling Haichen would eat lunch at the company. Qiao Hui Ping asked this casually, knowing Yu Shiyuan was around.

Ling Haichen glanced toward the mother and son in the living room, a smile unconsciously forming on his lips: "I’ll co back to eat."

"Then I’ll ask Auntie to prepare more of what you like for lunch. I still don’t know what Shiyuan likes to eat. Anyway, you should hurry to work and drive safely."

Qiao Hui Ping, happy, rambled on a bit more. It seed her son truly liked Shiyuan; he’d never expressed interest in coming ho for als before.

Ling Haichen strode over to the sofa in the living room, bent down, and kissed Little Fentuan’s chubby cheek: "I’ll co back for lunch."

He said this to Yu Shiyuan.

"Okay, I know."

Actually, Yu Shiyuan now really wanted to ask him whether he would go back on what he promised last night or if he’d secretly move against Feng Yi.

But Yu Shiyuan was afraid that ntioning Feng Yi would anger him and cause him to say hurtful things without thinking. After hesitating for a long ti, she swallowed the words stuck in her throat.

Li Manman had been staying in the hospital in the United States for more than twenty days. Her body had almost fully recovered, and today the doctor conducted a comprehensive examination. All indicators were normal, and they said she could be discharged today.

Li Manman was so happy she almost jumped up. These days, she’d almost gone crazy with confinent; if it weren’t for Han Xi and Chu Ci taking turns keeping her company, she might have developed depression by now.

Feng Yi packed the clothes and daily necessities into a suitcase. Seeing the girl so happy, a smile curved at the corners of his mouth: "Alright, let’s go."

"We’re going ho." Li Manman hooked her arms through Chu Ci and Han Xi’s and walked out of the ward with a smile: "I never want to co to this place again; it’s like being in prison."

"We’ve abandoned our husbands and kids to be with you for almost a month. You have to treat Xiao Xi and to a big al when we get back."

"Of course, I’ll treat you both for a whole month if you want." They stepped into the elevator, chatting as they went.

Although Li Manman still couldn’t rember the things between her and Feng Yi, during these days they spent together, their feelings had sowhat improved. At least she no longer constantly talked about unfamiliar n and wasn’t so polite and distant with Feng Yi.
