"Hello, have you two ladies made a reservation?" the receptionist asked with a smile.
"Yes, we have."
Mu Yan gave her ID number and na to the receptionist, who checked the computer and then looked up with a smile: "Miss, here is your room card. I wish you a pleasant stay."
Mu Yan took the room card, turned around, and looked at Li Manman: "Let’s go. We’ll rest in the room first, and then go find sothing to eat nearby."
"Okay."
The two of them pushed their suitcases into the elevator, and Li Manman took out her phone from her bag, ready to search for good restaurants nearby.
After returning to the room, Li Manman hung all the clothes from her suitcase in the wardrobe: "I just checked, there’s a pretty good restaurant near this hotel, just a ten-minute walk."
"Sounds good, let’s go there to eat later," Mu Yan replied absent-mindedly.
After tidying up their things, they went out. The restaurant was already packed. Li Manman found a spot in the corner, sat down, and after ordering, Mu Yan went to the restroom. By the ti she returned, the waiter had already brought their food.
"This is really delicious, you have to try it."
Li Manman said as she took a few photos with her phone and sent them to Feng Yi, telling him the restaurant was aweso, along with a few of her selfies.
It was already midnight for Feng Yi. Seeing the photos that girl sent, he turned to look at the empty half of the bed, his expression uncharacteristically forlorn.
"I can’t sleep without holding you."
"And who was the one always saying I was clingy, now you realize you can’t live without , huh?" Li Manman replied almost instantly.
Feng Yi raised a hand to rub his forehead, shaking his head with a wry smile. This girl had learned to tease him now.
"After your al, go back to the hotel early to rest, and rember to lock the door from the inside at night."
Li Manman looked at the ssage from Feng Yi, smiled, and turned off her phone, glancing at Mu Yan who was eating with her head down. Since getting off the plane, Li Manman hadn’t seen her contact Ling Haichen.
Those two really are... quite unique.
"Hey Mu Yan... are you and Ling Haichen fighting?" Li Manman couldn’t help but ask.
Mu Yan put down her utensils, smiling as she picked up a glass of juice and took a sip: "Why do you ask that?"
"It seems like you haven’t been in touch since getting off the plane, don’t you miss him?"
"Not at all," Mu Yan replied quickly and decisively, without a hint of hesitation.
Li Manman was a little baffled. One said they didn’t miss, and the other didn’t contact—these two didn’t feel like they were in a relationship at all.
"Don’t tell you’ve fallen for that... that Yan Xiao? Did Ling Haichen see the pictures online and got mad?"
Li Manman thought if that were the case, she would share so responsibility.
Mu Yan smiled nonchalantly, picking up chopsticks to grab so food and put it in her mouth: "No, hurry up and eat."
Li Manman wasn’t sure if Mu Yan’s "no" ant she hadn’t fallen for Yan Xiao or that Ling Haichen hadn’t seen the pictures online, but since Mu Yan didn’t want to talk about it, she didn’t press further.
After the al, they returned to the hotel to rest.

Li Manman and Mu Yan had been in the United States for three whole days. They had just returned from Tis Square, and Li Manman was so tired she threw herself onto the sofa.
