Assistant Wang forced a smile: "What strange habit could I have? They just don’t have taste. Alright, it’s my turn to spin the bottle."
Saying that, Assistant Wang stood up from the chair, grabbed the empty bottle, and gave it a hard spin. In his heart, he was silently praying to the gods, hoping the bottle would point right at Zhong Li and Gu Nanxi; he hadn’t had enough of the drama yet.
Then, the bottle mouth indeed pointed at Gu Nanxi......
"Another dare, I’m almost impatient this ti," Assistant Wang chuckled and rubbed his hands together, coughing a few tis before speaking again: "How about President Gu kissing our Zhong Li for ten seconds?"
"Forget it, we shouldn’t play anymore; it’s getting too ridiculous."
Zhong Li straightforwardly took away the empty bottle from the table.
Originally, Assistant Wang wanted to say sothing else, but Gu Nanxi quickly interjected: "Everyone should eat first."
As Gu Nanxi had already spoken, Assistant Wang could do nothing but suppress his desire to see more drama.
Everyone laughed and chatted while eating, not holding back even with Gu Nanxi around.
After the al, everyone left. Zhong Li, carrying her bag, walked to her car and was about to open the car door when Gu Nanxi took the keys from her hand.
"What are you doing?"
"Ride with ," Gu Nanxi said as he put her keys into his pants pocket.
Zhong Li frowned slightly at him, her hair being tousled by the warm wind: "Give back my keys quickly."
"I’ll have my assistant bring the car to you tomorrow, let’s go ho together."
With that, Gu Nanxi took Zhong Li by the hand and led her to his car.
"Can you not be so domineering? I never agreed to ride in your car. Let go of ."
"You still owe a kiss," Gu Nanxi turned around and said seriously, looking at Zhong Li.
Zhong Li subconsciously avoided his gaze: "That was just a ga."
"But I took it seriously."
Gu Nanxi’s deep ocean-like eyes stared at Zhong Li without blinking, holding her chin with his fingertips, lifted it gently, and then his thin lips accurately kissed hers.
Not far away, Xia Mo, just coming out of the restaurant, smiled as he took out his phone from his bag and captured the mont.
Zhong Li, startled, widened her eyes and forcefully pushed Gu Nanxi away: "Are you crazy?"
"Is it wrong to take back what you’re owed?"
Gu Nanxi had a deep smile on his lips; just now in the private room, there were too many people, and he was worried Zhong Li would feel uncomfortable, so he hadn’t kissed her then.
"Crazy, who owes you anything?" Zhong Li said and got into the car.
Gu Nanxi, with one hand in his pocket, walked to the car, opened the driver’s seat door, and got in as well: "When we were in the restaurant, why did you avoid my gaze?"
"I told you I didn’t."
Zhong Li propped one hand on the open car window, her head turned to look outside the window.
Gu Nanxi turned the steering wheel to get onto the main road, a smile playing on his lips: "The more you deny, the more it shows you have feelings for ."
"If that day ever cos, I will tell you, but until then, please do not make assumptions."
"Alright, I’ll wait."
The car soon stopped in the residential area, and the two got out together. As they reached the elevator, Gu Nanxi raised his hand to press the button.
Once in the elevator, Zhong Li turned around and held out her hand to Gu Nanxi: "Can I have my car keys back now?"
"Tomorrow I’ll have my assistant bring the keys and drive the car back to you."
