"Let go of right now, we’re at the company."
Zhong Li tried to lower her voice, but in her heart, she was fuming and wanted to kick him.
Qi Shangyu suddenly walked out of the eting room and upon seeing the scene, his eyes narrowed slightly, "Zhong Li, do you need my help?"
Zhong Li awkwardly looked at Qi Shangyu, "No need, President Qi, I can handle it myself, just give a few minutes."
Qi Shangyu nodded, but showed no intention of leaving.
Zhong Li glared at Gu Nanxi with anger, squeezing out a few words through clenched teeth, "Let go, I need to get back to work."
"Quit your job imdiately and co ho with ." Gu Nanxi’s deep voice carried a tone of undisputable certainty.
"Are you crazy? Why should I quit my job just because I’m working fine? Gu Nanxi, please get your position right; the two of us have no relationship."
Zhong Li thought he was too overbearing, even unreasonable. Just now she and Qi Shangyu were rely discussing work.
"We’ve kissed and slept together, doesn’t that count as having a relationship?"
Gu Nanxi’s words were ant for Qi Shangyu who was standing next to them to hear.
Assistant Wang, listening behind the eting room door, suddenly beca anxious; so Zhong Li really is Gu Nanxi’s woman. This is bad news, their president must be feeling awful.
Hearing Gu Nanxi say that, Qi Shangyu’s hand in his pants pocket involuntarily clenched into a fist.
Zhong Li really wanted to punch him; this is the company, and he dared to say anything. Sleeping like that, they were just sleeping on the sa bed fully dressed.
"Gu Nanxi, can you stop spouting nonsense? Let go of quickly." Zhong Li struggled fiercely.
Qi Shangyu stepped forward and threw a punch unexpectedly to Gu Nanxi’s side of the face.
Gu Nanxi, unprepared, retreated a few steps. Qi Shangyu yanked Zhong Li behind him, "Are you alright?"
Zhong Li shook her head, worriedly glancing at Gu Nanxi, "Your lip is bleeding, I’ll get you so tissues."
Gu Nanxi said nothing, watching Zhong Li enter the eting room before focusing his gaze on Qi Shangyu, "She’s my woman, you’d better not try anything."
"I’ve never heard her admit she’s your woman."
"I don’t want to repeat my warning." Gu Nanxi’s deep voice held a fierce tone.
Zhong Li hurriedly grabbed so tissues from the table in the eting room and was about to leave but was stopped by Assistant Wang, "What’s going on? Did they start fighting?"
He was just listening behind the door, not daring to peek, afraid their president would discover and punish him with more chores.
"Don’t make things worse, just hurry up and get to work."
Zhong Li’s brow furrowed slightly with impatience, she shook off Assistant Wang’s hand and went out.
She walked over to Gu Nanxi and handed him the tissues, "Please go back first, alright? I still have work to do."
Seeing how concerned Zhong Li was, Gu Nanxi’s jealousy had long dissipated. He took the tissues from Zhong Li’s hand, "Got it."
Zhong Li sighed in relief and then turned to Qi Shangyu, "I’m really sorry, President Qi, for delaying everyone’s work."
"Let’s get inside." Qi Shangyu strode towards the eting room, followed by Zhong Li.
The executives in the eting room weren’t as openly gossiping as Assistant Wang. Even if they had countless questions, they didn’t show it, each busy with their own tasks.
