"It might be ti, let’s hurry to the hospital."
Lu Jinghan bent over to pick up Han Xi, and Zhong Li and Song Yan got up as well: "We’ll go with you. Xiao Xi, don’t be nervous, take deep breaths."
Han Xi was in so much pain now it made her want to cry.
Chu Ci and Manman on the stage saw the commotion and quickly ran over: "What’s wrong, is Xiao Xi going to give birth?"
"Let’s go to the hospital first," Lu Jinghan stopped and said.
Chu Ci looked at Han Xi worriedly: "I’ll go too, the ceremony is over anyway, the rest can be left to Fu Bin and the others."
"I’m going too," Manman said while taking off her veil.
Han Xi tightly clutched Lu Jinghan’s clothes, holding back the pain and stopping them: "You all need to finish the wedding properly, I’m fine."
"You’ll be in labor at the hospital; we can’t be at ease staying here anyway. The ceremony is done, now it’s just entertaining the guests. Let’s not waste ti, hurry up."
Chu Ci could understand how much pain Han Xi was in now, not wanting to delay a mont longer.
Lu Jinghan carried Han Xi out with large strides, and Fu Bin and Feng Yi reassured them that they would handle things here.
Shen Qiong and Song Mingyuan also got into the car; seeing the girl in Lu Jinghan’s arms with a pale face in pain made Song Mingyuan’s heart ache.
The car quickly stopped at the hospital, Lu Jinghan carried Han Xi out and went straight to the obstetrics departnt.
The obstetrics doctor examined Han Xi, saying the cervix had opened enough and she could go into the delivery room.
Han Xi was now in so much pain she didn’t even want to speak, tears kept streaming down. Lu Jinghan empathetically held the girl’s hand: "Don’t be afraid, I’ll be with you."
After Han Xi was pushed into the delivery room, Lu Jinghan donned sterile clothing and followed her in.
In the hallway, everyone waited anxiously outside. Fu Bin had their aunt at ho bring clothes over for Chu Ci and Manman, neither had changed due to the rush.
Chu Ci and Manman changed their clothes in the ward before coming out.
In the delivery room, Han Xi felt like she was going to die from the pain; she’d been in labor for ages but still hadn’t delivered. Lu Jinghan watched the girl suffer and felt a sharp, piercing sympathy, like needles pricking his heart.
Han Xi pulled on Lu Jinghan’s hand, trembling in pain, her hair soaked with sweat: "Doctor Li, I really have no strength left, it hurts so much."
"Xiao Xi, push a little harder, I can see the baby’s head."
"Honey, Little Bun is almost out."
Lu Jinghan wished he could bear the pain for Han Xi, seeing the girl suffer so terribly made his heart ache and brought tears to his eyes.
It was uncertain how much longer passed, but finally, the baby’s cries were heard in the delivery room, and everyone’s tension was relieved.
Doctor Li held the baby up for Han Xi to see: "Congratulations Xiao Xi, it’s a boy."
Han Xi looked at the small, plump bundle that was Little Bun, her eyes red with tears. She finally delivered Little Bun.
Lu Jinghan lifted his hand to wipe Han Xi’s tears, his fingertips brushed through her hair: "Don’t cry now, girl."
Han Xi didn’t have the strength to talk; she held onto Lu Jinghan’s hand, still trembling, her face pale.
The nurse wrapped the baby in a small blanket and took him outside the delivery room. Song Mingyuan took the baby and was so overwheld he cried.
