The more Han Xi thought about it, the more she felt that sothing was amiss, sensing that the other party had preplanned this sche.
As she was thinking, Lu Jinghan pushed the door open and ca in, noticing the girl sitting on the sofa with furrowed brows in a daze. Lu Jinghan walked over, "What’s the matter? What are you thinking about?"
Upon hearing the voice, Han Xi turned her head and handed him her phone, "Soone sent this suspicious ssage."
Lu Jinghan took the phone handed to him by Han Xi, and his expression darkened upon reading the contents.
"Jing Han, I haven’t been with any other man..."
"I know, you don’t need to explain."
Lu Jinghan could tell right away that the man in the photo was Yan Xiao, and it was apparent the photo had been digitally altered. Even if it hadn’t been Yan Xiao, he would still trust this girl.
"Leave this matter to , don’t worry. Where did you have lunch yesterday?"
"Golden Splendor."
Lu Jinghan nodded, took the phone to the balcony, and called Assistant Xiao Zhang, instructing him to imdiately investigate the unknown number and the account ntioned in the ssage, as well as the surveillance video from Golden Splendor.
After hanging up, Assistant Zhang apologized to the woman across the dining table and quickly went to investigate.
He was originally there for a matchmaking event today, but before finishing his al, he was called away by his boss. As a special assistant, he was always on call 24/7, though he wondered if his boss would take responsibility for getting him a wife.
He was quite anxious to solve his personal issues.

The next morning, after Lu Jinghan finished breakfast, he headed to the company. As he ca out of the elevator, Assistant Zhang was about to report yesterday’s investigation results to him.
The two of them walked into the office together, and Lu Jinghan took off his coat, casually tossing it onto the sofa, "How’s the investigation going?"
"That number is a blacklisted one. I also checked yesterday’s restaurant surveillance where Madam went, and found a woman wearing a mask and cap taking photos, but she was well-disguised, it’s hard to tell what she looks like."
Saying this, Assistant Zhang pulled out his phone from his pocket and opened the album, "President Lu, here are the surveillance images I captured last night, it’s this woman."

He hadn’t finished half the cigarette when the phone on the table rang. He picked it up and pressed the answer button directly, the voice of Old Sir Lu ca from the receiver, "Jing Han, co ho for a visit, I have sothing to discuss with you."
"Alright, I happen to have sothing to discuss too."
After hanging up, Lu Jinghan leaned down to extinguish the cigarette in the ashtray, picked up the coat from the sofa and went out.
A dozen minutes later, at the Lu Family’s old house.
Lu Jinghan sat on the sofa with his legs crossed, his slender fingers rhythmically tapping the sofa armrest, emitting a chilling presence that couldn’t be ignored.
Old Sir Lu placed the photo he held onto the coffee table in front of Lu Jinghan, "Grandpa believes that Han wouldn’t do anything to betray you, but what’s with this photo?"
Though he believed Han, the photo indeed showed Han Xi kissing another man. Old Sir Lu felt Lu Jinghan had the right to know about this.
