They took the elevator to the amusent park inside the mall. As soon as Song ngng saw sothing fun, she was like a little horse let loose, happily jumping around.
While accompanying the little girl to play, Lu Jinghan kept Han Xi protected in his arms, afraid that the kids here might accidentally bump into her.
After a while, Song ngng said she was thirsty. Lu Jinghan got up to buy her so water, and before leaving, he reminded Han Xi not to wander around.
Han Xi smiled lightly and nodded, "I’ll wait for you here, go quickly."
Just after Lu Jinghan left, Han Xi suddenly felt nauseous. She held back the urge to vomit and ran toward the restroom, holding Song ngng’s small hand.
After entering the restroom, Han Xi leaned over the toilet and started vomiting. She didn’t know how long she vomited, even the sour water from her stomach ca out.
She straightened up from the sink, turned on the faucet, splashed so water on her face, pulled out two tissues to dry the water stains, and when she turned around, she found Song ngng was gone.
Han Xi’s heart tightened, and she panicked, pushing the door open and running out of the restroom. In the wide corridor, amidst the crowd, the little one was nowhere to be seen.
Han Xi grew even more anxious, searching everywhere while shouting, "ngng, where are you? ngng..."
When she reached the outside of the amusent park, Lu Jinghan had just returned with the water. Seeing Han Xi’s panicked appearance, he asked worriedly, "What’s wrong?"
"ngng is missing. I was holding her hand when we went to the restroom, and after I turned around from vomiting, she was gone. What should we do, Jing Han?"
Han Xi’s eyes reddened with anxiety. ngng is so small, what if she was taken away by bad people?
Lu Jinghan frowned and looked around, "Don’t worry, we’ll go look for her now."
Saying this, Lu Jinghan pulled out his phone from his pocket and called Feng Yi, instructing him to imdiately figure out how to access the amusent park’s surveillance to see exactly how ngng got lost.
After hanging up, Lu Jinghan held Han Xi’s hand, "Let’s look around; maybe ngng went off to play sowhere mischievously."
Han Xi nodded, "Let’s split up to search, it’ll be faster that way."
"Be careful then, don’t go too fast, there are a lot of people here." Lu Jinghan was a bit uneasy about this girl, but he also knew finding ngng was crucial right now.
The two of them walked in different directions. Han Xi, with her uneasy mind, kept looking around and repeatedly called the little one’s na.
She didn’t dare to imagine what would happen if ngng really was taken away by bad people; the little one would surely be terrified.
Thinking about it made Han Xi’s heart ache; she truly considered ngng as part of her family, plus she’s so little.
Han Xi kept searching and asking nearby people, "Have you seen a little girl, chubby, with two small braids, wearing a pink sweater?"
Everyone said they hadn’t seen her; there were many people, and there wasn’t just one child in a pink sweater with braids.
Standing amidst the bustling crowd, Han Xi suddenly felt so helpless and guilty. If only she had taken better care of ngng just now, she wouldn’t have gone missing.
Suddenly, the phone in her coat pocket rang. Han Xi thought it was Lu Jinghan finding the little one, but it was a string of unfamiliar numbers. For so reason, she had a foreboding feeling.
Without having ti to think, Han Xi directly pressed the answer button. From the phone ca Han Yaxin’s cold, ghostly voice: "Your half-sister is with now. If you don’t want her to die, you and Han Siyu should co to the rooftop to find . If anyone else follows, this little girl will fall from the roof with a ’bang’."
