Zhong Li took off her heavy coat and casually put it on the sofa, her gaze falling on the portrait on the wall: "Is that a portrait of the three of you as a family? Is this little one a boy?"

Zhong Li sat down on the sofa and raised her hand to touch Han Xi’s belly: "This afternoon, I bought lots of girl’s clothes for this little one while at the mall, but seems like I’ll probably have to change them to boy’s clothes now."

"Jing Han did."

Han Xi couldn’t help but laugh out loud, actually thinking that the child might not like the na "Little Bun" either—it’s just really, really casual.
Sister Zhang finished setting the table and walked to the living room to call them for dinner: "Madam, dinner is ready."

Han Xi wrapped her arm around Zhong Li’s arm and stood up from the sofa: "Sis, let’s go have dinner."
The two of them sat down at the dining table, and Han Xi picked up her chopsticks to serve Zhong Li so fish: "Sis, coming to keep company won’t make Gu Nanxi unhappy, will it?"

Zhong Li shook her head helplessly, feeling that this girl really overthinks things.

Before Zhong Li could speak, the phone on the table rang, and she glanced at the na on the screen, then pressed the mute button and put the phone face-down on the table.
"Why don’t you answer it? He’s probably worried since you haven’t gone ho so late."
Han Xi also saw the na on the screen earlier; the call was from Gu Nanxi.
Zhong Li turned her head to look at Han Xi beside her, her clear eyes carrying a serious expression: "I truly haven’t thought about developing anything with him. I’ve already filed a report with the company’s HR departnt, and I’ll resign in two months."
The phone that had just stopped vibrating on the dining table started buzzing again, Han Xi glanced at the phone: "You better answer it."
Zhong Li picked up the phone and pressed the answer button: "President Gu, is there anything going on?"
"You haven’t co ho yet?"
"And then?"
Gu Nanxi leaned against Zhong Li’s door fra with one hand in his pocket, flicking ash off the cigarette held in his hand: "Where have you gone?"
"President Gu, I’m not coming ho tonight, I have things to do, so I’m hanging up now."
Zhong Li didn’t give Gu Nanxi a chance to speak further, directly hanging up the call.
Han Xi put down the bowl and chopsticks in her hand, resting her chin on her hand while looking at Zhong Li with clear eyes filled with complex emotions.
"Why are you looking at like that?"
"You haven’t forgotten Li Chenghao yet, have you?"
Zhong Li smiled with relief: "How could soone forget a person they’ve loved? Unless I have amnesia, but now I’ve already stopped missing him, and I don’t care about him anymore. Do you think that counts as not loving anymore?"
