"He said Yu Shiyuan is very pitiful, a girl coming to An City with no support, and he can’t just ignore her. He even said Yu Shiyuan is kind-hearted and we’ve misunderstood her. Isn’t that ridiculous? Feng Yi is not only blind but his intelligence isn’t online either, he’s beyond saving."
Han Xi’s brow slightly furrowed: "Don’t tell Manman these things for now, just to keep her from getting upset."

The car soon stopped at the Li Family’s old house. Han Xi and Chu Ci got out together and walked towards the courtyard.
Inside the house, the servants helped them with slippers, Xu Lan and Li Shitian were not ho.
After changing their shoes, they went upstairs and opened the bedroom door; Li Manman was just starting to wash up and do her makeup.
"Miss, how co you didn’t prepare earlier? What ti is it now?"
Chu Ci took off her coat and sat down on the sofa, having a procrastinating and oblivious friend was really a headache.
"I just overslept, don’t worry, I’ll be quick."
Li Manman sat at the dressing table, quickly starting to put on makeup.
Han Xi lay on the bed, took out her phone, and casually browsed entertainnt news: "Oh my gosh, Yan Xiao is on the headlines again."
"What happened to him again?" Li Manman asked casually.
"Yan Xiao got injured while filming, it seems pretty serious. He’s already been taken to the local hospital for treatnt."
Chu Ci worriedly took out her phone and dialed Yan Xiao’s number: "Let ask about his situation first."
"Hello, Sister Chu Ci." Yan Xiao’s weak voice ca from the other end of the phone.
"How could you be so careless, is it serious?"
"Don’t worry, I won’t die just yet. The horse got scared, I didn’t hold the reins and fell off."
"Oh, stop talking about dying, you little rascal, talking nonsense all day."
A faint smile appeared on Yan Xiao’s pale face: "I can’t talk now, the doctor is here to check on ."
"Alright, take care at the hospital, and when you’re back we’ll treat you to a big al."
After Chu Ci hung up the phone, Li Manman was already packed; she took a bag from the closet and slung it over her shoulder: "How is that guy?"
"Judging by his voice, it sounds quite serious."
"Alright, let’s get going or we’ll be late if we delay any longer."
The three of them went downstairs, changed shoes at the entrance, and left.
It was already getting dark outside, with colorful lamps lighting up the streets bustling with cars and people. The car soon stopped at a place that looked like a high-end private club.
As they got out of the car, Chu Ci shivered from the cold, regretting not wearing more layers knowing the night would be this chilly.
The private room was already filled with many classmates, and everyone chatted warmly together, just like back in school, talking randomly.
Chu Ci took off her coat, glancing casually at Shi Yu, who happened to be looking at her too. Chu Ci gave a slight nod and started chatting with classmates around her.
"Xiao Xi, I heard you got married. I was planning to chase after you when I ca back this ti."
A male classmate walked over to Han Xi with a wine glass, giving a look that made Li Manman get goosebumps: "I told you to give it up, back in school you chased our Xiao Xi determinedly, did she ever pay you any attention?"
"You’re still the sa as back in school, would it kill you not to quip against ?"
"Our Xiao Xi’s husband can beat you by miles, know yourself better, this is a friendly reminder: don’t be ignorant."
