Han Xi turned on the faucet to wash his hands, then walked to the sofa and sat down: "In a few days, Yichen is getting married. Do you want to co along with to his wedding?"

"Sure, I don’t have anything else to do anyway. Wait, isn’t he the one who ran away from his wedding? How co he got caught so fast?"

"Yeah, my grandma personally took him away, but I think Yichen won’t just obediently go through with this wedding."

Li Manman perked up instantly after hearing this from Han Xi: "You an that kid is going to stir up so trouble at the wedding?"

"Maybe."

"This wedding is a must-see for . How could I miss out on such a good show?"

Li Manman seems to perfectly embody the saying "the more, the rrier" when it cos to excitent.

This morning, Han Xi didn’t have any surgeries scheduled. Li Manman stayed there until noon, and they only went out to eat after Han Xi got off work.

Once in the car, Li Manman took out a crystal pendant from her bag and hung it up in the car, thinking it looked quite nice.

Han Xi looked at the pendant and inexplicably found it familiar: "Isn’t this...."

"Just bumped into Tong Ze in the hospital lobby. He said he bought this pendant back in school to confess to ."

Hearing Li Manman say this, Han Xi belatedly rembered that this did happen.

"Why does he still have it? But aren’t you gutsy? Aren’t you afraid Feng Yi would get mad if he finds out?"

Li Manman shrugged innocently, turned the steering wheel onto the main road: "This is sothing only the sky, the earth, you, and I know about. If we don’t talk about it, Feng Yi won’t know. I really didn’t have the heart to refuse Tong Ze, after all, we’re still friends and there’s no need to get all distant."

Han Xi thought Li Manman had a point. They’re all adults and old classmates; there’s really no need to cut ties completely.

They stopped at a hotpot restaurant near the hospital. The two got out of the car, chatting and laughing as they walked into the restaurant.

After ordering, the server quickly brought out the side dishes. They ordered a clear broth as Li Manman had a cold and couldn’t eat spicy food.

Han Xi took off her coat and draped it over a chair, then put the at and seafood into the pot: "I haven’t had hotpot in days."

Li Manman looked down at her phone: "Oh my gosh, Yan Xiao is on the headlines again."

"What’s he done now?" Han Xi put a piece of at into her mouth and looked up at Li Manman.

"The guy is dating! His girlfriend seems to be an outsider. I have to make a call and find out."

Li Manman, full of gossip, dialed Yan Xiao’s number, and it wasn’t long before the call was answered.

"They say online that you’re dating, is it true?"

Yan Xiao was exhausted from hustling around schedules yesterday and was woken up fuzzily by Li Manman’s call: "Are you secretly in love with ? What does it matter to you if it’s true or not? If there’s nothing else, I’m going to hang up. I’m really tired."

"Secretly in love with my foot! Why don’t you say I can’t marry anyone but you? If you dare hang up, I’ll blow up your phone, believe it or not."

Li Manman took a sip of juice from the table, thinking this guy really deserved a push.

Yan Xiao changed his position and lay on his side on the bed, placing his phone over his face: "What exactly do you want? I was rushing all day yesterday, really tired."

Li Manman put a piece of at in her mouth: "Xiao Xi and I saw online that you have a girlfriend. Is it true?"

"False. If I don’t hurry up and get a girlfriend soon, that Yu Ye who’s got issues with his orientation will bug to death. He’s like a plaster that sticks and you can’t peel off."
