Song Yan, a grown man, actually cried. He had just found this sister not long ago, and every day for the past few days, he had been worried about her, fearing sothing might happen to her.

"Don’t do such dangerous things in the future. I just want you to be safe and sound."

"I know, brother."

Han Xi straightened up and raised her hand to wipe away the tears on Song Yan’s face: "Let’s go ho."

The group got into the car together, and Lu Jinghan made a phone call instructing Sister Zhang to prepare so breakfast for Han Xi, and then asked Doctor Liu from the old house to visit their ho.

After sending them all ho, Han Xi and Lu Jinghan finally returned to their own villa.

In the entrance hall, after changing, Han Xi gently hugged Lu Jinghan’s narrow waist with a smile: "Finally ho."

"Sir, Madam, you’re back, breakfast is ready."

Sister Zhang walked out of the kitchen with a big smile. She had no idea what Han Xi had been up to these past few days, otherwise she would have been scared to death.

"Okay, I’ll go upstairs to take a shower and then co down for breakfast."

As she finished speaking, Han Xi whispered to Lu Jinghan: "I have an injury on my back, I’ll need Mr. Lu to help wash."

Holding Han Xi’s hand, Lu Jinghan thought about when this girl had a chip implanted in her flesh, and then had it cut out. His heart ached as if it were being tossed in a at grinder, the pain was sharp.

The two of them went upstairs, and Lu Jinghan took off Han Xi’s clothes, seeing the still unhealed wound on her back: "It must hurt a lot."

Through the bathroom mirror, Han Xi looked at the man who was crying behind her, turned around, and helped him wipe the tears off his face: "It doesn’t hurt anymore, it truly doesn’t hurt."

"I’m sorry, it’s my fault for not taking good care of you."

Seeing this man’s guilt, Han Xi felt deeply uncomfortable: "It’s not your fault, I chose to do these things willingly, and besides, you were already on the plane going abroad then, you couldn’t have known."

"Hurry up and help shower."

Han Xi pulled Lu Jinghan’s hand, leaned over, and turned on the water in the bathtub: "Your ex-girlfriend is pretty good-looking."

"Are you jealous?"

Lu Jinghan put his hand in the bathtub, tested the water temperature, and then gently placed Han Xi in it, carefully avoiding the wound, wiping her body with a towel.

"You must have lied to when you said you had no feelings for her before. How could you not be attracted to such a beautiful girlfriend, especially since she pursued you so actively for years?"

The steam rising in the bathtub blurred Han Xi’s thick eyelashes; in her clean, dust-free voice was a thick jealous tone.

Lu Jinghan smiled slightly and looked up at the girl: "I swear, I have never been moved by her."

"But why do I still feel like she has feelings for you?"

In the days Han Xi spent with Su Luo, she could sense from Su Luo’s gaze that she was still in love with Lu Jinghan.

"Silly girl, you’re overthinking. I haven’t seen her in many years."

Lu Jinghan got up, took a towel and dried Han Xi’s body and hair, then leaned in to pick her up and carried her towards the bedroom.

After placing Han Xi on the bed, Lu Jinghan took out a set of ho clothes from the wardrobe and helped her put them on: "I’ll help you dry your hair."

Han Xi obediently lay sideways on Lu Jinghan’s lap: "Then delete her WeChat, and don’t contact her anymore."

Han Xi had beco so delicate and petty; she rembered that she wasn’t like this before.
