Fu Bin followed Doctor Wang to the office outside, listening carefully to Doctor Wang’s instructions.
Chu Ci tidied up her clothes, thanked Doctor Wang, and then left.
Walking out of the office, Chu Ci shook off Fu Bin’s hand: "Why are you so thick-skinned? I’m not your wife, so why should I share a room with you?"
"As long as you’re willing, we can get the certificate anyti. And just now when I saw the child, my heart really lted. Thank you for giving a child."
Fu Bin looked at Chu Ci seriously, not joking at all.
"You go back first. I want to go shopping with Xiao Xi."
Chu Ci dodged the question and changed the subject, a complex expression on her face.
"I’ll go with you."
"We’re going shopping, won only. Why would you, a big man, tag along?"
While speaking, the two of them got into the elevator. It was a bit crowded inside, and Fu Bin used his arm to protect Chu Ci, afraid of anyone bumping into her and the child in her belly.
Soone unknowingly bumped from behind, and Chu Ci’s cheek unexpectedly leaned against Fu Bin’s chest. Fu Bin smiled lightly and embraced Chu Ci.
"Let go of ."
"You leaned over first."
"I was bumped. Let go of quickly."
"Don’t fuss, just hold on for a little longer, just a little while."
Fu Bin wore a profound smile at the corner of his mouth. He didn’t dare to hold too tightly, fearing to squeeze the child in her belly.
When the elevator doors opened, Han Xi happened to be waiting outside, seeing the two of them embracing inside, she deliberately cleared her throat: "You two have sothing going on here."
Chu Ci pushed Fu Bin away and walked out of the elevator: "Don’t talk nonsense, soone just bumped into , it’s not what you think."
"Fu Bin, when are you finally going to win over our Chu Ci?"
"Why are you siding with an outsider, can’t you tell near from far?" Chu Ci glared at Han Xi and dragged her towards the office.
Fu Bin followed with his hands in his pockets: "I’ll try to marry her ho as soon as possible."
"Go for it, we all support you."
Han Xi opened the office door with a sweet smile, sneezing several tis consecutively.
"Did you catch a cold?"
Chu Ci sat down on the sofa, casually took off the black mask on her face.
"I caught a chill last night, but it’s not serious, I’ve taken dicine. By the way, what did Doctor Wang say?"
Han Xi took off her white coat uneasily asking. Actually, she was just about to go to the obstetrics departnt to see Chu Ci, and happened to catch them when they finished their check-up.
"Doctor Wang said the baby is developing very healthily, as long as I co regularly for check-ups. Co shopping with after your shift, alright?"
Han Xi took her coat from the hanger and put it on, casually pulling out her hair from inside the clothes: "I want to go ho and rest for a while, my head hurts a bit, and I’m afraid of passing the cold to you."
All day, Han Xi had been working while forcing herself to stay energetic. Now she just wanted to lie down and have a good rest.
"Alright then, we’ll go when your cold gets better."
While they were talking, Fu Bin went to the hallway to take a phone call. When he returned, Han Xi and Chu Ci had already co out of the office.
The three of them got into the elevator together, and after Fu Bin drove Han Xi ho, he left with Chu Ci.
Back at ho, Han Xi changed her shoes in the foyer and went upstairs, groggily changed into her ho clothes, and fell asleep on the bed.
Lu Jinghan knew Han Xi was off early today, so he also ca back earlier.
