Lu Jinghan looked at the little ball of fluff that was Song ngng, worried that Han Xi might get tired holding her: "Let hold her."
"ngng, how about letting your brother-in-law hold you?" Han Xi looked at the little one in her arms, seeking her opinion.
Song ngng nodded, "As long as you don’t mind, sis, I don’t have a problem with it."
Oh my gosh, this little girl is really sothing else.
Han Xi laughed and kissed the little one’s cheek, "I don’t mind."
"Then when I grow up, sis, can you introduce to a boyfriend just like my brother-in-law?"
"Sure, one just like him."
Lu Jinghan speechlessly picked up Song ngng, "There’s no one just like your brother-in-law, he’s one of a kind and he’s already your sister’s."
"Oh, okay then."
Song ngng puffed out her little mouth in disappointnt, looking utterly adorable.
Lu Jinghan held ngng with one hand, interlocking fingers with Han Xi with the other as they headed towards the aquarium.
It was Sunday, and there were quite a lot of people. The line at the ticket booth was very long.
Lu Jinghan and Han Xi stood at the back of the queue. Worried that Han Xi might be cold, he took off the scarf from his neck and put it on her.
A girl in the line beside them couldn’t help but complain to her boyfriend, "Look how much he cares for his wife, unlike you, not even giving your scarf."
"Don’t be mad, don’t be mad, I’ll take it off for you right now."
"I don’t care for concern that’s asked for, I don’t think you care about at all."
The boy looked at his pouting girlfriend, suddenly feeling very innocent.
After buying the tickets, Lu Jinghan held Han Xi’s hand as they entered the aquarium. Song ngng was thrilled as soon as they got inside, her chubby face all smiles.
There were more people inside, and Lu Jinghan kept Han Xi closely protected in his arms.
"Sis, is that a rmaid? She’s so pretty."
The little one watched the "rmaid" show in the water with wide eyes, and clapped along with the adults when it was over.
They played inside for a long ti, and Han Xi was so tired she could hardly walk, feeling more exhausted than after a morning of surgery.
"ngng, sis is really tired, let’s go out to eat sothing, and we can co back another day, okay?"
The little one nodded reluctantly, rembering Shen Qiong’s advice to listen to Han Xi.
After leaving the aquarium, Lu Jinghan drove them to a nearby restaurant.
Once inside, Han Xi placed Song ngng on a chair and helped her take off her coat and hat.
After ordering food, Lu Jinghan went to the restroom, and when he ca out, he saw a man sitting across from Han Xi.
He strode over, his deep voice laced with displeasure, "Don’t you think you’re a bit unnecessary here?"
Yan Xiao looked up, a smile playing on his lips as he stood from the chair, "I just saw a beautiful doctor and ca to say hello, Mr. Lu, do you really need to be so jealous?"
"My wife isn’t familiar enough with you to warrant a greeting."
Lu Jinghan crossed his legs as he sat down, playing with a lighter in his hand.
Yan Xiao glanced at Han Xi and quipped with a smile, "Beautiful doctor, surely we’re old acquaintances by now?"
"Not even a bit familiar."
Han Xi answered briskly, wondering where he got that idea.
Sitting quietly beside them, Song ngng suddenly piped up, "Big brother, do you like my sister?"
Yan Xiao nodded without reservation, "I do like your sister a lot, but she doesn’t like ."
"Serves you right, who told you you’re not as handso as my brother-in-law."
