In the private room, Han Xi helped the little one take off the coat and then sat down next to Lu Jinghan.
Song Yan ordered so dishes that Shen Qiong and Song ngng usually liked and casually took off his coat, placing it on the back of the chair.
"Auntie, since you’re here this ti, you should stay for a few more days."
Han Xi poured a cup of tea for Shen Qiong, smiling slightly as she spoke.
"I’m not too comfortable leaving your dad alone in the United States. We’ll stay with you all for a few days, then head back."
As soon as the little one heard about going back, she imdiately pulled a long face and cried, "I don’t want to go. I want to stay here and live."
"ng ng, don’t cry; it won’t be pretty if you do."
Han Xi pinched the little one’s chubby cheeks, almost lting at how adorable she was.
The waiter soon brought the ordered food, and everyone was chatting and laughing while eating, creating a particularly good atmosphere.
Midway through the al, Lu Jinghan went to the bathroom. Coming out, he stood by the window in the corridor and lit a cigarette.
"This gentleman’s back looks like a friend I know."
Behind him, Liao Tingting’s voice ca from afar, getting closer.
Lu Jinghan turned around and t Liao Tingting’s gaze. Within the swirling smoke, his dark eyes grew sowhat complex.
"This lady must have mistaken for soone else. We don’t know each other."
"Sorry, I really did mistake you for soone else."
Liao Tingting shrugged with a sweet smile, but an almost indiscernible shadow flitted through her dark pupils.
Lu Jinghan leaned down and stubbed out the cigarette in the ashtray, striding back into the private room.
In the room, both Han Xi and Song Yan received a call from the hospital, saying there had been a severe car accident on the highway, and many injured patients were being sent to the hospital, urging them to return quickly.
After hanging up, Han Xi and Song Yan hurriedly left. Shen Qiong had also mostly finished eating and asked Lu Jinghan to drive her and ng ng to Song Yan’s villa.
On the way back to the company, Lu Jinghan called Fu Bin and Feng Yi, saying he had sothing very important to discuss with them.
By the ti he returned to the company, Fu Bin and Feng Yi were already waiting in the office.
"What happened that got you so worked up?"
Fu Bin sat cross-legged on the sofa, a cigarette smoldering between his fingers with a glowing red tip.
Lu Jinghan took off his coat and tossed it onto the sofa, his expression solemn as he picked up a cigarette from the coffee table and tilted his head to light it.
"Rember that drug dealer bust in the Golden Triangle a few years ago? I ntioned back then that we had missed one person. Now it seems she has reappeared, and she’s in An City."
Feng Yi and Fu Bin’s expressions instantly beca serious.
"Are you sure?"
"Although she looks completely different now, I recognized her eyes and voice."
Lu Jinghan leaned over and tapped the ashes from his cigarette into the ashtray on the coffee table. "Find soone to protect Han Xi and the Lu Family."
"Don’t worry, we won’t let anything happen to Little Sister-in-law and the old man."
Feng Yi loosened his tie in frustration, taking a deep drag on his cigarette.
"Investigate that woman who appeared in the restaurant today, and check everyone around her thoroughly. There will always be sothing to find."
"I’ll look into this woman; she’s here for you. Be careful."
Fu Bin stubbed out his cigarette and got up to leave the office.
.......

She wearily erged from the operating room and offered a few words of comfort to the crying relatives, "Don’t worry, she’s no longer in any life-threatening danger. She should wake up in about an hour or so."
