Han Xi slung her bag over her shoulder, walked over and looped her arm through Lu Jinghan’s: "Let’s go."
"Mrs. Lu, in the future, it’s best not to accept flowers from other n."
"Mm, I’ll only accept flowers from Mr. Lu in the future."
Han Xi looked up at Lu Jinghan’s slightly jealous expression, her lips curling into a sweet smile.
The two walked out of the hospital and got into the car. Lu Jinghan leaned over to help Han Xi fasten her seatbelt: "Let’s go out for dinner today."
"Sure, what are we eating?"
Han Xi raised her hand to tuck a stray lock of hair behind her ear, her small hand subconsciously touching Lu Jinghan’s chin.
"A new restaurant just opened recently, Fu Bin said it’s delicious. How about we give it a try?"
Han Xi withdrew her hand and leaned back in the passenger seat, nodding: "I’ll go with your suggestion."
Lu Jinghan turned the steering wheel and rged onto the main road. It was rush hour, so the car was moving a bit slowly. By the ti they reached the restaurant, more than half an hour had passed.
Just as Lu Jinghan was leading Han Xi into the restaurant, they heard soone calling him: "Brother Jing Han, you’re here to eat too."
Lu Jinghan followed the voice and nodded towards Qin Mi: "Mm, this is my wife, Han Xi."
"Qin Mi, you know Jing Han?"
Han Xi asked in a sowhat surprised tone, sensing that the two seed to have known each other for a long ti.
Qin Mi suddenly rembered that yesterday Fu Bin had ntioned she was his girlfriend. She awkwardly nodded: "Brother Jing Han is a good friend of Fu Bin’s, so of course I know him."
Wasn’t it just yesterday that she said she was dating Fu Bin for the first ti?
How co she seems so familiar with his good friend now?
"We’ll head inside first."
Lu Jinghan nodded toward Qin Mi, then led his young wife by the hand into a private room.
Inside the private room, Han Xi watched Lu Jinghan as he ordered food while she removed her coat: "Did you introduce Qin Mi to Fu Bin?"
Lu Jinghan closed the nu, nodded to the waiter, and looked at his young wife: "No."
"Then why do I feel like she’s quite familiar with you?"
Lu Jinghan raised his hand to pinch the spot between his eyebrows. No matter why Fu Bin claid Qin Mi was his girlfriend, as long as Han Xi asked, Lu Jinghan wouldn’t lie to her.
"Qin Mi isn’t Fu Bin’s girlfriend, she’s his cousin."
Han Xi looked at Lu Jinghan with a skeptical expression: "How is that possible? Fu Bin said it himself yesterday, and Qin Mi confird it."
"I have no idea what the two of them are up to, but they really are cousins."
Lu Jinghan also took off his coat and draped it over the chair back.
As they were talking, the waiter brought in the ordered dishes: "Enjoy your al."
After the private room door closed, Lu Jinghan reached out and ruffled Han Xi’s hair: "Forget about them, let’s eat."
"Okay."
"By the way, Jing Han, Chu Ci is pregnant. Tomorrow at noon, accompany to the mall to buy so daily items and small clothes for the baby. Today, Manman bought all boys’ clothes and toys, I want to buy so things for girls."
"Chu Ci is pregnant?"
Lu Jinghan poured Han Xi a glass of juice, and curiously asked: "Who’s the father?"
Han Xi hesitated for a mont before replying: "Rember when we held the wedding in Vienna and Chu Ci got drunk that ti."
Lu Jinghan nodded earnestly, knowing it wasn’t his place to comnt on his friend’s affairs.
