"Lu Jinghan, what are you doing... If you want to buy it, you can do it yourself. Why do you have to drag along?"
"I’ll definitely rember to buy it myself next ti."
With that, Lu Jinghan whispered into Han Xi’s ear again, "If you don’t want to buy it now, then we won’t need to use T tonight."
"I... Who said anything about doing that with you tonight?"
Han Xi bit her lip, her face flushed and her heart racing. This guy always had a knack for saying inappropriate things regardless of the situation.
"What do you an, hmm?"
Han Xi was utterly defeated by Lu Jinghan; he could speak of such embarrassing things without even a hint of embarrassnt.
Seeing that she didn’t respond, Lu Jinghan wrapped an arm around her, pulling her close. "So are we going to need it tonight or not?"
With reddened cheeks, Han Xi tried to push him away, but he just hugged her tighter.
"Lu Jinghan, let go. We’re in a supermarket, and there are so many people around."
"But Mrs. Lu hasn’t answered my question yet."
In the end, unable to argue any further, Han Xi nodded in reluctant agreent.
As they pushed their cart to the checkout counter, Han Xi was so embarrassed that she nearly buried her chin into her collarbone.
After paying, Lu Jinghan carried the shopping bags in one hand while holding Han Xi’s small hand in the other, as they walked out of the supermarket.
Outside, it had started to snow lightly. Han Xi extended her hand, a faint smile playing on her lips. "It’s snowing."
With his distinct fingers, Lu Jinghan spread open Han Xi’s palm, intertwining their fingers tightly, then slipped their hands into his coat pocket. "It’s cold, let’s hurry ho. Don’t want you catching a chill."
Han Xi leaned her head against Lu Jinghan’s shoulder, her hand in her pocket holding onto his even tighter.
When they got ho, Sister Zhang took the shopping bags from Lu Jinghan and headed to the kitchen.
Han Xi let out a small sigh of relief, thankful that Sister Zhang hadn’t seen the T; otherwise, it would have been beyond embarrassing.
Changing her shoes in the hallway, Han Xi also went to the kitchen. "Sister Zhang, let help you prepare dinner."
"Sure thing, ma’am."
It was already past five, and with so many ingredients to prepare before dinner, Sister Zhang couldn’t manage it all by herself and didn’t refuse the help.
Han Xi grabbed an apron, tied it on, rolled up her sleeves to her elbows, and started to busy herself.
In the living room, Lu Jinghan, who was on a phone call, watched his little wife bustling around, a sweet smile forming on his lips.

Outside the airport, Song Yan had already picked up Song Mingyuan. They were originally supposed to head straight to Han Xi’s place, but Song Mingyuan insisted on going to the cetery to visit Wen Qin first.
An hour later, the car stopped at the cetery, snowflakes still gently falling. Supporting Song Mingyuan, Song Yan guided him toward Wen Qin’s grave.
Standing before the tombstone, Song Mingyuan couldn’t hold back his tears as images of their once cherished life together flooded his mind.
He clutched the photo, crouching down in sorrow, his eyes filled with shattered despair. "I let you down, I failed our daughter. I never should have let you leave back then. I regret it so much..."
"Dad, you’re still recovering."
Song Yan was truly worried about Song Mingyuan’s health. Ever since hearing about Wen Qin’s passing, he had been ill and hospitalized. Now he had taken a long flight, disregarding his condition.
Helping Song Mingyuan up from the ground, Song Yan said, "Dad, mom’s watching over us from above. She would worry seeing you like this. Xiao Xi is still waiting at ho, why don’t we head back first?"
Looking at Wen Qin’s photo, Song Mingyuan nodded.
