"How could that be? My heart is entirely filled with Mr. Lu. You must have heard wrong just now."

Seeing the girl speak such sweet words, Lu Jinghan decided not to pursue the matter further.

..........

The next morning, when Han Xi opened her eyes, Lu Jinghan was changing clothes. He wore blue jeans paired with a loose navy sweater, beneath which was a white cotton shirt. His short hair accentuated his deeply chiseled and handso features.

Lu Jinghan raised his hand to pick up the watch from the bedside table, putting it on his wrist, a faint smile playing at his lips. "Mrs. Lu, haven’t seen enough yet? If you don’t get up soon, you’ll be late for work."

Han Xi blushed as she got out of bed, feeling an inexplicable embarrassnt of being caught in the act of peeking.

After finishing their morning routine in the bathroom, changing clothes, they went downstairs together.

In the dining room, Old Sir Lu was already having breakfast. He put down his bowl and chopsticks with a cheerful smile. "Han, are you comfortable sleeping here?"

Han Xi nodded with a guilty smile. "I slept quite well, Grandpa."

Lu Jinghan sat down beside Han Xi, pouring her a cup of milk. "Eat quickly, after breakfast I’ll drive you to work."

"Okay."

Han Xi took the milk, drank a few sips, and then placed it on the table, picking up her bowl and chopsticks to start eating.

After breakfast, Lu Jinghan drove Han Xi to the hospital. As soon as she exited the elevator, she was surrounded by several doctors and nurses.

"Doctor Han, I didn’t expect Mr. Lu would follow all the way to Lin City."

"Yeah, yeah, you two are so romantic, to be able to kiss so passionately in such a situation."

"Xiao Xi, Mr. Lu really, truly likes you. Just because you were there for the rescue, he even sent a lot of supplies. I heard even your three als a day are all things you like to eat."

"This is killing us singletons."

Hearing everyone chatter away like this, Han Xi more or less understood what was going on.

She rembered that whenever they kissed, it was when no one was paying attention. How did it turn out that it seed the entire hospital knew about it in the blink of an eye?

One of the doctors took out a phone and handed it to Han Xi. "Xiao Xi, you and Mr. Lu really make a perfect couple."

Han Xi smiled gently, taking the phone, and looked at the screen displaying a photo of her and Lu Jinghan kissing, feeling a bit bewildered and stunned.

Were they actually in the news?

The news headline read: "The Most Beautiful Doctor — Mrs. Lu", and below it was a report on an interview with Lu Jinghan.

My god, at this point, perhaps the whole of An City knows I’m Lu Jinghan’s wife.

Back in the office, Han Xi took out her phone and dialed Lu Jinghan’s number. It was quickly answered on the other end.

"Miss ?"

Han Xi walked to the window, leaning to watch the cars and people outside, her voice gentle as water. "Lu Jinghan, did you have an interview with reporters while you were in Lin City?"

Lu Jinghan laid down his docunt, and tapped a cigarette box on his desk casually. "Yes, what’s up?"

"Well... now, it’s probably not just our hospital. I fear the whole of An City knows I’m your wife."

"Mrs. Lu, you are my wife, after all."

Hearing Lu Jinghan say this, Han Xi had a smile glistening with warmth spreading across her clear eyebrows. "Mr. Lu, see you tonight."

Although the two had registered their marriage, only a few friends and family knew. Now Lu Jinghan had claid her as his wife on the news, making Han Xi’s heart overflow with warmth.

After hanging up, Han Xi turned back to her desk to get busy.

By noon, Li Manman called saying she wanted Han Xi to join her for lunch and was already waiting at the hospital entrance.

Han Xi glanced at the watch on her wrist, got up, removed her lab coat, and pushed the door to leave the office.
