Every day, countless vibrant little lives are welcod into the hands of these obstetricians, which gives them a strong sense of purpose. But in cases like now, when they have to personally kill those unborn babies still forming in their mothers’ wombs, these doctors feel they are committing sins, committing cris.
Yet there are far too many irresponsible people in this society like Yaxin, who treat life as a joke.
When Yaxin ca out of the operating room, her entire face was pale. Though the process was not painful at all, she was so scared that her whole body couldn’t stop trembling.
After the doctor ca out and told Zhang Min so things to be cautious about, they left, and Zhang Min helped Yaxin to the elevator. It was a coincidence that Han Xi was in the elevator too.
Han Xi looked straight ahead, ignoring them completely, not even sparing a glance for the mother and daughter duo.
Rembering yesterday’s incident where she was slapped by the sisters, Zhang Min felt furious. With no one else in the elevator, she slightly raised her lipstick-coated lips and mocked, "Siyu even slept with your boyfriend, yet you sisters can still coexist peacefully. It’s truly impressive."
Han Xi’s sharp eyes glanced at Zhang Min: "If my husband hears this, he’ll definitely be very angry."
Han Xi then glanced at Yaxin and smiled wickedly: "Your daughter is so young and already ca to the hospital for an abortion. I’m sure you didn’t tell Guanghong the truth yesterday."
Before Zhang Min could respond, the elevator door opened, and Han Xi strode out, leaving behind Zhang Min with a furious expression.
Han Xi had just returned to her office when she got a call from Manman, saying Xu Lan had been driving her crazy these days, and she was either going to or coming from blind dates every day. She wanted Han Xi to accompany her for so singing fun and relaxation tonight.
Han Xi initially wanted to refuse, due to her period making her feel drained; she planned to just lie down after getting ho from work. But she couldn’t resist Manman’s persistent persuasion and eventually agreed.
After ending the call with Manman, Han Xi texted Lu Jinghan, saying she wouldn’t be ho for dinner tonight and would be with Manman.
A few seconds later, Han Xi received Lu Jinghan’s reply: [Call after dinner, I’ll pick you up.]
Han Xi looked at the ssage and smiled sweetly.
In the evening, Manman drove early to the hospital. Upon finding Han Xi absent from her office, she asked a young nurse, who said Doctor Han was still in the operating room.
Manman could only sit bored in the office waiting for Han Xi. As she took out her phone to scroll through Weibo, Siyu pushed the door open and ca in.
Manman looked up, her face imdiately stiffening, and asked displeasedly, "What are you here for?"
Siyu knew Manman didn’t like her but didn’t plan to bicker: "I’m here to see Xiao Xi."
Li Chenghao returned, and so did Siyu, as if one after another. Why do they keep appearing before Han Xi? What’s their deal?
Manman stood up from the sofa, her expression as if soone owed her two million: "What do you need her for?"
Siyu didn’t intend to argue, turned to leave, and saw Han Xi co back.
"Xiao Xi, Chenghao says his wound hurts a bit, you better check it quickly." Siyu approached Han Xi, with anxiety and a hint of restraint in her voice.
