Lu Jinghan looked down at Han Xi with a smile on his lips, his eyes seemingly sprinkled with starlight: "From now on, I want to wear couple watches with Mrs. Lu for a lifeti."
Han Xi turned around, her eyes slightly red as she looked up, her heart ward to the point of confusion.
......
The next day after breakfast, Han Xi carried the breakfast for two that Sister Zhang had prepared in advance, and drove to the doctor with Lu Jinghan.
After coming ho last night, Han Xi told Sister Zhang to help prepare more for three als a day, and to trouble Sister Zhang to deliver lunch and dinner to the hospital.
The Maybach stopped at the hospital entrance, and after unbuckling her seatbelt, Han Xi got out of the car. She didn’t leave imdiately but leaned down through the open car window, instructed Lu Jinghan to drive carefully, then carried the breakfast into the hospital.
Back in the office, Han Xi changed clothes and went to Li Chenghao’s ward.
When she pushed the door open and entered, Han Siyu was helping Li Chenghao wipe his face with a towel. Although there was no communication between the two, Han Xi sensitively noticed that a subtle change had occurred in their relationship.
"Sis, I brought breakfast for you."
Han Xi placed the thermos bottle on the table beside the hospital bed, her eyebrows and eyes filled with a smile. If Han Siyu could truly be with Li Chenghao, she would definitely be happy for them.
Upon seeing Han Xi, Li Chenghao stopped Han Siyu’s movents: "That’s enough, no need to wipe anymore."
Han Siyu’s eyes flickered slightly, then she smiled and said: "Xiao Xi, you really don’t have to bother bringing us breakfast every day."
Han Xi put her hands into the pockets of her white coat: "It’s not a bother at all. I’ve already told the auntie at ho to deliver als on ti every day, so you won’t have to work so hard."
"Lu Jinghan won’t mind, will he?" After speaking, Han Siyu carried the basin and towel to the bathroom.
Han Xi couldn’t help defending her husband: "Sis, he’s very nice. After you spend more ti with him, you’ll know."
Han Siyu said nothing. After she emptied the washbasin, as she was about to turn around and leave, she looked up to see Li Chenghao’s deep black eyes. He was gazing intently at Han Xi’s profile, his expression filled with ti-transcending tenderness.
Han Siyu’s nail-polished hand clenched into a tight fist, her heart pierced sharply like thousands of needles.
When Han Siyu ca out, Li Chenghao had already discreetly withdrawn his gaze, turning his head to look out the window.
"Sis, you and Chenghao go ahead and eat first. I’m going to get busy. Call if you need anything." Han Xi glanced at her watch; she had to do her rounds.
"Okay."
After seeing Han Xi off, Han Siyu opened the thermos flask on the table, set the dishes, scooped a spoonful of soup, blew it cool, and brought it to Li Chenghao’s lips.
Neither of them spoke, the silence broken only by the sound of the spoon clinking against the porcelain bowl.
After taking care of Li Chenghao’s al, Han Siyu said she was going out to buy so fruit and would be back soon.
