The morning sunlight sprinkled into the bedroom through the curtains that weren’t fully drawn. Han Xi opened her drowsy eyes and looked up at Lu Jinghan, her voice carrying a lazy huskiness: "Morning."
Lu Jinghan tightened the arm wrapped around Han Xi’s waist, his deep-set eyes seed to be sprinkled with stars: "Morning, Mrs. Lu."
Waking up in this man’s arms every day and exchanging morning greetings with him felt wonderful, giving Han Xi a sense of secure happiness.
Han Xi’s small hand wrapped around Lu Jinghan’s narrow waist, her body sticking close to his: "When did you co back last night?"
"Around ten, saw you were already asleep, so I didn’t wake you. Did you buy my underwear?"
Han Xi nodded with her face a bit flushed: "I did, but I was a bit tired after coming back last night, so I didn’t wash them. I’ll wash them after I get off work tonight and then you can wear them."
Seeing Han Xi’s slightly red cheeks, Lu Jinghan smiled faintly: "Is this the first ti Mrs. Lu has bought underwear for a man?"
Han Xi mischievously pinched the waist she held, her husky voice carrying a trace of exasperation: "Lu Jinghan, I was so embarrassed I could die when I went to the n’s underwear store. I’ve never bought anything like that for a man in my life."
Lu Jinghan’s smile grew deeper, lifting a hand to stroke Han Xi’s fine, smooth cheek: "Buy a few more tis and you won’t be embarrassed. From now on, Mrs. Lu will buy all my underwear."
Han Xi chuckled and asked him back: "With that logic, should you be buying all my underwear from now on?"
"I’d be very willing to serve Mrs. Lu, but I might prefer the more sexy ones."
"Then forget it, no need to trouble Mr. Lu."
Han Xi felt like she had dug a hole for herself and happily jumped in.
"That won’t do, in the future, all of Mrs. Lu’s underwear will be bought by ."
Han Xi sat up from bed, no longer intending to argue about underwear: "Get up quickly; otherwise, I’ll be late for work."
"Get up after you promise ."
"Lu Jinghan, are you planning to be unreasonable? Immature!"
At that mont, Lu Jinghan seed like a preschooler stubbornly refusing to get up until he was given candy, totally unlike the usual cool, aloof, dignified, and powerful man.
Lu Jinghan pulled Han Xi into his arms, an interesting smile on his lips: "Mrs. Lu better agree quickly, or I can’t guarantee what I’ll do next."
Han Xi’s cheek was tightly pressed against Lu Jinghan’s neck. Looking up, she t Lu Jinghan’s intensely black eyes filled with passion. Realizing the danger, Han Xi quickly nodded in agreent.
She certainly didn’t want anything indescribable to happen so early in the morning.
"Good wife."
Lu Jinghan placed a light kiss on Han Xi’s smooth forehead and got out of bed. If he stayed snuggled up with this girl any longer, he wouldn’t be able to control himself.
After washing up in the bathroom, both dressed up, Han Xi took out the watch she bought at the mall yesterday: "Shall we wear this watch today?"
Lu Jinghan had wanted it earlier, but before he could ask, this girl already took it out.
"Help put it on."
Han Xi opened the box, took out the n’s watch inside, and gently raised Lu Jinghan’s left hand, elegantly putting the watch on his wrist and fastening the strap.
