Chapter 409: The Storm Gathers on Mount Lao

Translator: Alsey Editor: Chrissy

The vegetation here was verdant and the mountain wasn’t very tall. From ti to ti the cries of birds would echo within the peaceful mountain.

Chu Feng did a backflip and landed on the ground in excitent. He had comprehended the deeper aspects of domains and was already beginning to deploy it on the spot. He was testing the results of his attainnts.

There were a lot of magnetic stones on his pristine jade bottle, enough for him to squander freely.

A small stream snaked through the base of the mountain and flowed towards the distance. Before long, a massive explosion took place in the region and caused the ground to collapse. The little stream also vanished into the giant pit.

Following which, two small mountains vanished.

Chu Feng’s face was covered in earth and dust as he erged from a distant crack, his clothes in tatters. He looked extrely miserable but his face was full of delight because he had successfully deployed a simplified killing domain. The results were extraordinary!

His domain attainnts had reached new heights and taken a step forwards. This wasn’t just useful for the upcoming battle but would also be of great help when exploring the fad mountains.

On Mount Lao, thorns and thistles began to grow out in the depths of the ancient woods. A somber atmosphere suffused the region around folded space.

The Imperial Prince of Great Qi was highly dissatisfied because news of his crossing over had been leaked beforehand. This made him upset and caused those who had co from the qilin’s lair to be restless as they approached to apologize.

The news was leaked by them and as such, they had co to act as dao protectors with hopes of appeasing the prince.

"You lot go and patrol the vicinity. I want a report if even a blade of grass moves!" A captain within the folded space spoke and shooed away the people.

"This leak might not necessarily be without motives," the old man with the dicine basket said with a solemn expression.

The prince of Great Qi nodded as he gazed intently at the area outside of the folded space and said, "There might be opponents from the sa star as ours."

"They shouldn’t be worthy of contending with us. I reckon it’s those lackeys who’d co 22 years ago." A captain said with surging killing intent. He requested to be allowed to cross over first and clear out a safe path in order to avoid disturbances during the crossing over.

The battle armor worn by Qi Yu erupted with light. He didn’t agree to this and said, "The more powerful an entity, the more dangerous it is to cross into this star. You’ll die without a doubt if you go over on your own."

They had studied this process extensively. The paths into earth from the other worlds would gradually beco safe after earth’s revival.

It seed as if the earth was protecting its inhabitants. Entities that were too strong couldn’t co over. Only after earth was gradually restored and the evolvers beca stronger would it allow more powerful entities from the outer realms to descend.

"It’s entirely impossible for those who are much stronger than the natives to cross over, but the price involved is too high. So will beco crippled even if they survive." A knight riding a vicious beast spoke.

People from both the origin magnetic cave and the qilin’s forr lair were extraterrestrials who had forcefully crossed over back then.

Although they were fortunate enough to survive, they had paid a terrible price and were forced to recuperate in hibernation.

Of course, many of them died directly and were completely annihilated!

"For stability’s sake, we of the lower rank are willing to risk death and charge through. We will act as dao protectors for His Majesty!"

At this ti, a group of knights dismounted along with the two captains. They dropped to one knee and requested the prince’s command. They wanted to prevent unexpected events from happening when Qi Yu truly crossed over.

"No, this is just throwing your lives away!" Qi Yu declined.

The n they had brought were all high-level warriors. It would be relatively safe for them to descend only when the earth began to evolve rapidly and carefree realm warriors started to appear.

"Your Majesty, we are have forcefully suppressed our cultivation to the shackled realm in order to set foot on this planet. Please allow us to go!"

A number of them insisted and presented a plausible reason.

"That is true, Your Majesty. Only by entering the planet earlier will we be able to rest easy. We have to take the initiative and seize back the sage weapon left behind on earth by the saint from our Great Qi Dynasty."

Qi Yu’s eyes flickered upon hearing this.

He knew that there were also people from the planet on which the Great Qi was located eyeing this ancestral divine weapon. These people had sches to intercept them and thus it was wiser to cross over earlier.

Additionally, the Great Qi Dynasty had co here back then in order to seize a terrifying fortune, but had failed in the end. Now, the prince wanted to fulfill the ancestors’ wishes and retrieve an item from under a certain location and perhaps even ascend to beco a saint here.

In the end, the agreed. He walking over to pat the n’s shoulders and gave them a strong hug.

Qi Yu said, "Great Qi will take care of your families if anything unfortunate happens. They will live without any worries thereafter!"

"Thank you, Your Majesty!"

"We are willing to fight for Your Majesty. We have no fear although we know we might die!"

Five knights walked up, all of them death warriors. Their armors glead coldly as they began to rush through the barrier in succession.

Bang!

The first person was torn into pieces the mont he charged out and then incinerated. He didn’t even have the ti to scream before he was turned into a pile of ashes.

This caused everyone’s expressions to turn ugly.

"That divine scripture was used up while sending Mu Qing over. The remaining ones are insufficient," soone sighed.

They had already exhausted many divine objects along the way and now they were quite short on supplies.

Boom!

The second one’s fate was even more clear-cut and was completely annihilated in form and soul the mont he stepped in. He was utterly destroyed by the erging domain patterns.

"This planet is mysterious and complex. It was fortified by the ancestors and the will of the planet itself hadn’t died completely. It was still protecting the earth out of instinct." The prince’s expression was turning ugly.

These were trusted aides that he had brought over. Many had already died along the way and the survivors were all characters with great potential. In the end, they had fallen before the earth’s barrier just as their objective was within reach.

"All in all, the natives are simply too slow in their progress and their levels are too low. Otherwise, the planet’s will would long since have allowed us to enter!" The captain said coldly. His eyes were frosty after seeing two knights die one after the other. The fingers on his clenched fist had even turned white.

The third charged through and went through with a swoosh. Although he was charred blacked under the suppression of the domain patterns, he had at least survived.

"Haha... well done!"

The group behind began to laugh in delight. They were all incomparably excited.

The person staggered and finally stood up. His injuries weren’t especially serious. He leapt up three thousand ters into the air to express his excitent.

Bang!

After landing, he went down on one knee and said, "I’m willing to act as a dao protector for His Majesty. Whether it’s the lowly natives or the other malicious descenders, I’ll wash them with blood if they dare act recklessly!"

"Good!"

Many people in the folded space were excited. A single Mu Qing simply wasn’t enough, but now things would be much more stable with a knight holding the fort. They would be able to prevent accidents!

Swoosh! Swoosh!

The fourth and fifth knights charged in succession but both of them died. They were enveloped by a layer of flas and turned to ashes.

This wasn’t just related to one’s bloodline, foundation, and evolutionary level, but was also dependent on luck. At least the knight who had successfully crossed over had no idea why he had succeeded.

"Your Majesty, I’ll perform a search in the vicinity and return imdiately!" The knight who had successfully crossed overturned around and left.

Afterwards, he transford into a beam of silver light and moved away rapidly. The powerful shackled realm expert inspected the whole Mount Lao area.

Not long afterwards, he saw the group from the qilin’s lair who had co to offer their services and went around them.

Very soon, he saw a different group of people hiding in the dark and seemingly scheming sothing.

"Reckless dregs!" The knight said coldly. He then dived towards the mountain peak like a supersonic bomber plane.

"Chi!"

Within monts, the silver blade in his right hand swept out, cutting apart giant rocks, shaving off mountain peaks, and destroying the forests.

Pfft!

The group scread wretchedly as they were cut through the waist.

Clang clang clang...

A great battle ensued, after which four of the five people from the qilin’s forr lair were eradicated. The remaining person was caught alive and lifted off the ground.

"You dare to plot against the dynasty with just your abilities? Even if the master behind you will be eliminated if descends personally!" Yang Heng carried the surviving prisoner and left.

Before long, he returned to the folded space and, tossing the man on the ground, imdiately began to interrogate him.

"Have you t Mu Qing?" The prince asked.

"Yes, I’ve t her. After being treated by Your Majesty’s dicine, her broke limbs are growing out and she’s almost recovered. She’s with Miss Lin during this period." Yang Heng replied.

Afterward, he revealed an excited expression and said with a soft voice, "According to Mu Qing’s observations, the energy pagoda within Miss Lin’s body might be an inheritance left behind by a five-star evolver’s dynasty. It might even be more mysterious!"

"What?!" At this mont, not to ntion the knights and captains, even Prince Qi Yu was astonished. This was indeed a shocking news.

Five-star dynasties were considered colossal entities even in the whole of the universe., This kind of orthodoxy possessed exceedingly deep foundations and their inheritances were supre.

One could easily build another Great Qi Dynasty after obtaining this energy pagoda.

Additionally, an energy tower at this level could be activated once a year to open a path and allow an army to enter.

"Congratulations Your Majesty. You’re destined to beco a saint on this planet. When the ti cos, you’ll return gloriously!"

"The prologue of glory has been revealed. It seems Your Majesty is a child chosen by the heavens. Who would dare contend with you?!"

At this ti, Chu Feng had already exited his isolation after comprehending another important link regarding killing domains. He could now deploy a simplified version of the killing domain which, at the mont, was already quite sufficient.

In truth, he could no longer continue comprehending because advancing in this field required insight and long-term practice. How could he afford to invest more ti?

The Wudang Grandmaster and the old llama of Kunlun ca to et him.

Chu Feng brought out a number of silver pills and passed them onto the most powerful people. He told them that it could help them achieve a supre evolution and sever their eighth shackle.

They were all astonished to have obtained a priceless treasured dicine even before severing their seventh shackle. This was like a dream.

In the end, the old grandmaster Wu Qifeng and the old llama broke through to beco experts with eight severed shackles, their strength increasing by leaps and bounds!

As for the others, they were, unfortunately, unable to cross over the threshold and could only sever their seventh shackle.

Afterwards, Chu Feng, the old llama, and the Wudang Grandmaster worked together to break the silver chain on the Mastiff King’s neck and allowed him to completely recover.

After the Mastiff King took the silver pill, he also broke through to beco an expert with eight severed shackles!

On Mount Lao, Mu Qing was smiling from her heart. She touched the energy pagoda personally and felt her spirit throb. She sensed a distant and majestic aura which made her tremble.

"I’m greatly honored to be allowed to touch the supre crystallization of this ancient evolver’s dynasty!" She spoke words of respect as she expressed her gratitude in full ceremony. This wasn’t just being polite. It was as her true feeling.

Lin Naoi was calm and collected as she nodded. "I can form that safe passage now."

At this sa ti, Chu Feng, the old llama, and the others had approached Mount Lao and were looking on from afar.
