Chapter 394: The Five Generations

Translator: Alsey Editor: Chrissy

Mount Lao was surrounded by white mist. The greenery and plants were crystalline, and filled with spirituality.

Ancient yet simple thousand-year-old temples stood atop the mountain, with cranes encircling in the air. Among the pine forests, clear springs flowed over rocks and below it was the bright and luminous ocean.

Lin Naoi was very calm. She kept her silence and listened quietly.

Han Wenze, the man whose forehead sported a dark red mark was was handso and gentle. His eyes were full of spirit as he recounted incredible and breathtaking secrets.

"After the era of civilization, a total of five mysterious unforeseen events occurred upon Earth, all of which were great revolutions."

This was exactly how Han Wenze had located the reasoning for differentiating the five generations.

In theory, each ti a mysterious unforeseen event occurred on Earth, strange individuals would appear, increasing the rate of evolution for certain organisms.

Of these, the last unforeseen event was the most terrifying. Over the last year, the whole planet evolved on a large scale and to a great extent.

That was 22 years ago.

During the first unforeseen event, the effect was likely to have been the weakest.

The five unforeseen events which occurred after the era of civilization spanned over two to three hundred years.

"In theory, the evolvers from the first generation and the second generation have all died out. They have already exhausted their longevity, and could not have lasted until the present tis"

In reality, Han Wenze guessed that it was very possible there were simply no first generation evolvers. This was because at that ti the extent of the unforeseen event was limited.

Even if mutant fruits did erge, it was unlikely that other life forms would coincidentally co across them.

"If the five mysterious unforeseen events resulted in five generations of evolvers. Could there also be five batches of descenders?" Lin Naoi finally started to talk.

"You are very smart," Han Wenze nodded, the dark red mark between his eyebrows was like a blazing fla. It glowed faintly, giving him an outstanding disposition.

"The extent of the first unforeseen event was very small, and the number of folded spaces which appeared was limited. It was unlikely any descenders ca," he said.

Han Wenze concluded that regardless of whether they were natives or descenders, in theory, there were a total of five generations of evolvers on Earth currently.

Lin Naoi frowned for the first ti, and her calm yet elegant expression was no longer tranquil.

If this kind of news passed on to the outside world, it would definitely cause a huge commotion!

Han Wenze and the middle-aged woman by his side were considered as the fourth generation. Were there any older people remaining alive?

"Don’t worry. Even if there are any old freaks still alive, they would not dare to ddle with us because their longevities have dried up and they’ve long since beco withered.

Those old freaks would only dare venture out if the dicinal properties of the bizarre fruits increased following the recovery of the Earth. Otherwise, they could only live in seclusion, and would not dare to act rashly.

"In addition, also present on Earth are the Survivors, a race that had, fortunately, survived the culling during ancient tis. They consider themselves as the orthodox race, but these individuals might not necessarily dare to fall out with the descenders."

"Troubled tis have arrived. I believe descenders from the outer realms will steadily appear. In addition to the paths behind the fad mountains, occasionally, there will also be battleships flying here through the starry skies!"

It was evident that Han Wenze did not want to hide anything from Lin Naoi any longer, and wanted her to understand so of this world’s secrets.

Nearby was a woman dressed in modern attire, yet sported an ancient hairstyle and a jade pin with a string of hanging beads tucked within the strands of her hair. She had a pretty appearance, with eyes full of soul.

Her na was Huang Weiyue. With a smile, she handed Lin Naoi an object - a small square seal, gentle yet penetrative. It looked as though it was made out of brightly polished brass, and yet also resembled a piece of jade.

"This is a gift to you from that heaven-chosen prince from the dynasty of evolved beings. This immortal brass seal has astonishing powers."

In the Southern Sea, the Elder Dragon King was almost set to go and kill Chu Feng, but he restrained himself for the sake of the draconification fruits. In the end, he did not leave that mysterious part of the bottom of the sea.

"A big explosion under the sea eye of the Eastern Sea, the recovery of the true dragon’s lair and Long Ze being killed by the domains therein," he muttered to himself as he sat cross-legged on the seafloor with lightning-like divine radiance flashing through his eyes when they opened.

The evolvers on land also received the news. The reason behind the death of Long Ze was actually due to the reactivation of the domains in the ruins on the seafloor, leading to this murderous calamity.

Upon understanding this, many were relieved.

What were they afraid of? They were worried that Chu Feng had evolved to another higher level. If he had relied on his own power to kill Long Ze, that would be extrely frightening.

"It cannot be denied that this Chu Feng’s attainnts in the field of domains are terrifying. I strongly suspect the great explosion in the Dragon King’s palace on the seafloor was his doing." Soone from the Origin Magnetic Immortal Cave guessed thus.

"If it’s not a killing relying on the power of an evolver then all is well. It’s still quite easy to kill a domain researcher who is not yet at the grandmaster level unless he holds the advantage of ti and terrain."

In summary, many parties were still worried Chu Feng had made a breakthrough on the path of evolution.

For a domain researcher, he would have to reach the level of a great master in order to really beco terrifying. And so before they reached this stage, there were many ans to kill them. For example, assassination was simple yet barbarous, but it was extrely effective.

"Fortunately Demon King Chu isn’t too heaven-defying yet. Otherwise, I would start to doubt my life," a mber of the financial magnate gave a sigh of relief.

This kind of murdering was truly astonishing as Long Ze was the second strongest character of the Southern Sea dragon tribe.

In the universe at the edge of the solar system, many incomparably cold and hostile battleships were arranged densely together. It resembled a thicket of steel and shook the hearts of many.

In reality, they had long since approached this part of the galaxy but had been delayed on the journey here. After approaching the solar system, they had to attentively study the space here.

This was because there were too many frightening legends with regards to this ancient yet mysterious starry place.

In those ancient yet glorious days, which happened to be the era of the dynasty of evolved beings, even people from those formidable evolver sects riding chariots pulled by quasi-divine beasts, beca cautious when they approached this place.

So much so that they disembarked in advance and crossed the space towards the planet by themselves in order to show respect.

There were row upon row of battleships blotting out the sky. They were extrely cautious and took readings on Pluto, Neptune, and other withered planets to check if there was anything unusual.

The once brilliant Earth’s deterrence remained to this day. The fleet of battleships dared not act carelessly, for they were afraid that sothing had been left in this zone.

Mount Lao’s Han Wenze was right. Troubled tis and periods of disorder were approaching. Extraterrestrial troops were near, and all kinds of evolvers would co into being.

At this mont, the immortal island of Penglai was enshrouded and covered in a hazy fog. It was unclear when gazing upon it from afar.

Now, there were people out at sea, driving a small boat westwards and moving towards land.

"Hey, as descenders, those of us who have been hibernating near the Qilin lair should also make an appearance."

Likewise, there were also people in the North Pole departing. These were real aliens, and so had been hibernating for 22 years. Now they had started to recuperate and departed from their resting grounds.

Within the folded spaces behind a certain mountain in North Europe, a figure rose and said, "I should make that step now, and grace the Earth with my presence!"

Equally in the West, upon Mount Olympus, a stone door glowed as though a certain ancient passageway was about to open up. It emitted intense energy fluctuations and the 12 powerful plants upon the mountain quaked and shook.

In the East. Within the folded spaces in the depths of Mount Taihang, dazzling and boundlessly terrifying rays were being emitted. Many giant prehistoric creatures were overwheld and trembled in fear, crawling and shivering on the ground.

And at this ti, Chu Feng reappeared and once again returned to dry land.

They left as a group, but he had returned alone. He turned to glimpse at the great sea, and waved towards the flying saucer in the distance. Then, he left the shore in big strides.

Whoosh!

He possessed astonishing speed—with one step, he had moved beyond 2000 ters. It was almost as if he were flying.

At the sa ti, as he empowered his strides, the air would be blasted apart like clouds of smoke when he ran. The sight was sowhat terrifying to behold, and the sound it made was incredibly frightening.

Chu Feng returned and crossed the Earth, rushing towards Jiangning. His target was the Mount Zhijin; he wanted to borrow the divine Revered Eight Trigram Furnace to refine so dicine. This way he could once again evolve.

Mount Zhijin was also fad as the Elegant Jinling.

Chu Feng had co here once again. His speed unbelievably fast and there were no obstructions on the way as he rushed over as quick as lightning. He did not want any unexpected mishaps to occur and wished he could imdiately form the dicine.

The mountain was majestic and beautiful, snaking and andering like a Blue Dragon. In addition, a purple mist hung in the air, and a serene ravine was hidden within.

Chu Feng stood on the mountain and looked at the terrain. He then observed the air within the mountain, to determine whether it was feasible. Domain researchers must have a thorough understanding of the mountains and rivers.

After all, last ti there was too big of a disruption made here. Not only the extre yang essence flas, the draconic qi, and tallic radiance but even bizarre creatures who had co into Chu Feng had no option but to be careful.

"It’s feasible!"

After Chu Feng examined the terrain and the atmosphere, he concluded there were no problems. The corpses buried within the extre yin grounds shouldn’t be an issue.

"Since it’s rare to start up the cauldron to refine dicine, it is indeed boring to be here alone. I do wish there were others here to join in the action," Chu Feng muttered to himself.

He was not afraid of outsiders intruding upon him. If those harboring unfathomable motives do approach, he would have welcod them. When that mont cos he could just incinerate them all.

This is the site of the Revered Eight Trigrams Furnace, and the group of experts burned last ti wailed like the ghosts and howled like the wolves. Even the problematic girl’s grandfather had suffered here. He had called loudly as he was burned, and was seriously injured.

As soon as this area beca activated, its power could be seen clearly. As such Chu Feng did not think he could be attacked by foreigners within the Revered Eight Trigrams Furnace.

Because of this, he thought it would be happier to be in a crowd than be alone. He could expose his own whereabouts just a little, to attract so others here.

To be exact, he took the initiative to leak the information in order to lure those harboring unfathomable motives to co here.

Of course, he did not think the effect would be great, as a tragedy did occur here after all. Furthermore, he already had a notorious reputation among the groups he wanted to trick. They knew that he was cunning and deceptive!

Anyway, he was going to refine dicine here. This could be considered as gathering the grass to hunt the rabbit, and he was only taking advantage of the situation. Otherwise being bored was still being bored.

Chu Feng exited the mountain and went around the area, "accidentally" exposing his whereabouts and letting so others spot where he was.

"Chu Feng is at Mount Zhijin!" soone cried out.

So major powers imdiately received the news that Chu Feng was once again at Mount Zhijin. This impinged many people’s nerves.

.

"Could it be that there is sothing good there?" They had serious suspicions.

Chu Feng did not take notice of everyone’s reactions, and directly entered the cave of the Revered Eight Trigrams Furnace. He closed his eyes in self-cultivation and pondered through the night.

The next morning, as the rosy morning mist showered down and vitality was at its most vigorous, Chu Feng stirred and incited all domains. When the purple clouds ca from the east, he began to refine the dicine.

Boom!

The ancient domains in the area were all active, and the patterns on the ground interweaved, emitting rays of light.

Impressive clouds of red steam rose that morning on Mount Zhijin, mainly towards the direction of the Sun. Threads of purple clouds floated across and entered the Revered Eight Trigrams Furnace.

Inside the eight trigrams furnace, fire embers danced and fragrant aromas breathed out. There sat Chu Feng amidst the spreading scent of dicinal aroma.

"Be refined! Here cos the opportunity to sever the eighth shackle!" muttered Chu Feng to himself.

The whole Earth had evolved. Extraterrestrials, those Penglai survivors who regarded themselves as the orthodox race, and many others were about to appear. Naturally, Chu Feng wished he himself would beco stronger, to deal with the changing situations.

"Mn, it is ti to take action and kill that Chu Feng." Huang Weiyue and Han Wenze were conversing.

At the sa ti, a man from the immortal island of Penglai disembarked and was asking around about Chu Feng’s whereabouts. He represented and ca on behalf of a certain young Master in Penglai, and wished to summon Chu Feng.
