Chapter 409: After

Neraxis opened his eyes and spotted Evangeline lying right beside him.

It was also now bright outside, which ant that not only had they done it the entire night, but he wasn’t dissatisfied. Not in the slightest.

He caressed her cheek while she was sleeping, pushing aside so of her hair and then bringing his hand under the bedsheets, gently rubbing her belly.

He had filled up all her holes, and the anal bit especially was sothing he would only do on special occasions. After all, Evangeline couldn’t handle it as well as he thought.

After five thrusts, she had passed out, so he had to stop and continue with what they had done earlier.

And of course, that included baby-making. He rembered the words she had said before they had fallen asleep.

They were sweet, encouraging, and not only that, she ntioned she wanted a girl.

Knowing Evangeline and how her vampire self worked, he knew that it was incredibly possible she could make a baby girl appear instead of a baby boy.

So when she woke up, he would do his best to convince her to do a 50/50. If not, then he might have to make another child with her, if she wanted to, of course.

Still…

Neraxis slowly got up from the bed, his head slightly hurting. Even if he had finished with the fighting, the effects from his final battle against Lagus were permanent.

There was no way to heal the soul. At least, no way that he knew of.

Anyhow, that wasn’t important.

He leaned in and kissed her on the cheek, then a mont later, he proceeded to hold her nose, causing her face to turn red, until eventually, her eyes shot wide open.

“Huh? Did you just try to suffocate , dear?” Evangeline pouted.

Neraxis smiled. “You’re acting like I could do that in the first place. You’re a vampire, so you don’t need to breathe in the first place. Do you?”

“Well, that’s true.” Evangeline sat up with a hum, a warm smile on her face. “I had fun… though didn’t we say we would do it normally…? The baby-making, I an.”

“Well…” Neraxis scratched his cheek. “We did the first part normally. That’s the one that impregnated you. The others are just bonuses.”

“Pfft, bonuses?” Evangeline repeated, amused. “I guess ravishing my body counts as a bonus now. Tsk tsk… if you were even half as handso, I would have pinned you down again.”

“Again? Oh… yeah, refrain from that for now. I’m fragile now,” Neraxis replied. “I don’t have any more mana left.”

Evangeline tilted her head. “What about what happened before I arrived? You kind of decimated the entire area without moving a finger.”

“Those weren’t my powers,” Neraxis replied with a sigh and slowly got out of bed, putting on a nearby robe. “They were borrowed, you could say.”

“Why can’t I see you borrowing them in your mories, then?” Evangeline asked, getting up. Her breasts swayed side to side as she approached him and got inside his robe, then hugged him from behind.

“Are you going to hide this from too?”

Neraxis stared at the empty space in front of him and decided to at least give her a basic rundown of how he got those space-bending powers.

“You didn’t see it because it’s not a big event. I had soone reach out to in my mind while I was playing around with Lagus. You might know him, Wrath. Even though he was dead, the piece of his soul that I had stored within the Void Realm still contained a piece of his consciousness.”

“Because of that, we were able to have a small chat. He still had so of his powers left, and he said he was willing to lend them to when the ti cos… it’s almost like he knew sothing like this was going to happen,” Neraxis added with a darkened look.

“It sounds like you’re not telling sothing,” Evangeline mused.

Neraxis grumbled. “He might or might not have asked for a body in return for giving his powers in the future… so every ti I use his powers, he uses my Void Realm to manifest a body for himself.”

“How’s that a bad thing?” Evangeline asked. “Weren’t you two kind of connected?”

“I am not scared of him,” Neraxis said plainly. “However, the sheer fact that he has the Void Realm opened to him, and I have nothing… is slightly unnerving. He is essentially , or at least, a fragnt of .”

“So why not just get rid of him?” Evangeline replied, hugging him tighter. “Get Raguel to go inside and snuff out what was left of Wrath.”

Neraxis smiled. “I can’t do that.”

“Why not?”

“Because if I do that, then I won’t have any way to protect you all,” Neraxis said and turned around to face Evangeline.

Her breasts pressed against his body, but he ignored the squishy feeling as he delivered a passionate kiss on her lips.

It lasted for several minutes, and then finally, the two separated, red as always.

“I know a ti might co when my power is necessary. And… as much as I don’t want to say it, I believe none of you are powerful enough to deal with the threat that might arrive.”

And by that threat, he obviously ant the administrators.

They were mysterious individuals who had their own way of dealing with things, and as it stood, they hated Lagus.

Neraxis and they had that one thing in common, but once the thread was broken, they were strangers.

Rather, strangers who got off on the wrong foot, as Neraxis did steal Jane from Dreamspire, going against their wishes.

And knowing how they operate… I’m sure one day a calamity will ensue soon enough, and if need be… I’ll sacrifice—

“You seem to be forgetting I can hear your thoughts,” Evangeline said, cupping his cheeks with a stern look.

“You’re not going to be sacrificing yourself. Not now, not ever. Understand?”
