Vacuse’s voice sent a chill down her spine and she stopped smiling. There was no anger in his voice, no harsh speaking. Only softness as if one was comnting about the weather.

Her eyes narrowed and her hand reached forward, a glow appeared in her hand. A red shine.

Imdiately, Vacuse felt a weight around his head and before he could do more than blink, his head was slamd into the ground in front of him with a sharp crack.

Pain flared in his head and blood dripped down his nose.

With the prison suppressing his powers, the level of strength that his body was capable of was reduced. He looked up, not moving a muscle, his face still calm.

Lyra snorted. "My ability is quite unique. It gives incredible strength and then it allows to pass my strength into sothing else and then control such things.

"Unfortunately, flesh doesn’t do well."

"Do you know what I like about this prison? It allows people to use power from the other side. It does not restrict those inside at all!" At the sa ti, the air around Vacuse gained weight again, flaring a soft red. Then the air bent around him, and suddenly his head slamd down again with a loud cracking sound.

More blood spilled and his lips split, turning his face bloodied. And yet, his face was still calm.

Her eyes narrowed again. "You are still calm? I want to see how long you can stay calm!"

She gestured forward and a force slamd into Vacuse, ramming into his chest and sending him hurling back. His back slamd into the wall and he bounced back.

At the sa ti, he felt the fingers of his hand raising up of their own volition. It felt incredibly heavy and yet it raised, forming a fist as he continuously punched his own face.

Since the fist had incredible strength, his head snapped to the side and his jaws began wobbling.

And yet, Vacuse remained calm.

Which only seed to anger her. The pressure on his right hand increased to such a level that his fingers snapped as if they were twigs, blood began dripping on the ground.

The pain made him grunt and his eyes began to shine with anger which pleased her as she laughed out loud. "I know you are not the type to hide your anger for long!

"How does it feel, Vacuse? To have the ga flipped over in your face without you even knowing? The Vorrakyn is done for. I will split it and sell it to different people and then I will use the profit to establish a new House.

"I don’t know your dream, Vacuse, and I don’t care. But know that it is not a worthy one. If it was, you would not be in the position you are right now."

Vacuse stared at her right in the face. "I wish I had killed you that day, Lyra."

She laughed. "The Frexon will soon devour Kragthar, then he will beco the Grand Duke of the Western Region. Finally, the Region will progress again."

Vacuse watched her as she turned to leave, her face showing how pleased she was with herself.

The prison room returned to silence until the Orcs ca to get them. They put power-resisting shackles on their hands and led them back to the hall.

Most of the Orcs in attendance for the banquet were gone. Those that remained were grim-looking warriors.

The Elders and the First General were there, as well as Ragna.

Lyra and the fourteen traitors also stood there.

The First General shifted on his seat. "The Elders have passed their judgnt and we will carry it out. The matter is now handed over to Lord Ragna to do as he deems fit since he was the one whose life was put in danger."

Ragna smiled and looked at Vacuse. "First, I will grant Lyra a gift for saving my life! From now on she will be known as the friend of the Warbine and given a permanent passage identification to do trade!

"In addition, I will reward her with gold and jewelry. It is what she deserves!"

Then his eyes turned to Vacuse in a glare. "As for you and all the ones with you, death is simply too much of a rcy."

Vacuse looked up at Ragna, then he turned to Valka and stared for a long ti as if waiting for the captain to say sothing, but the Orc only stared straight ahead.

Vacuse shrugged and then he turned to Ragna with a smile on his face. "I know a bit of history about the Warbines. Especially about the Warbine family."

Eh?

That was not what anyone was expecting Vacuse to say. It was as if he was talking about another thing entirely.

That seed to anger Ragna as his face darkened. "What are you talking about?"

"When the High Chief of the Warbines started having children, they all mysteriously died. Nobody knew the cause, but they died each and every ti, no matter how many females he had children with.

"Eventually, it was figured that it must be the work of an assassin, soone very close to the High Chief. At the end of the day, the traitor was rooted out which turned out to be the youngest brother of the High Chief!"

Sothing flickered in Ragna’s face and he glared. "Human, what does this have to do with your incoming death? Are you trying to postpone it?"

Vacuse continued to smile and continued as if he didn’t hear a single thing that Ragna said. "But by the ti they found out, the High Chief was old and no matter how he tried, he never had children.

"But miraculously, he suddenly gave birth to a child! The whole Orc race was thrown into shock and astonishnt as they had already expected the Warbine to fall due to infighting when the High Chief died without an heir!"

A strange tension was building in the air that most people could not put their hands on.

The First General sat up, his face a mask of hardness. Ragna’s smile was now forced and Valka had stiffened.
