Damian spent another couple of hours generating mana with his many small and large mana generators at once. Soon, he once again had over four tanks full of liquid mana, and his raw ammonia supply had been used up by over 80%. He kept the remaining portion for ergencies and for his mana cubes.
Ammonia was easy to obtain, but he wanted only high-quality ammonia, and filtering it would take ti. Still, four tanks should be more than enough—that had to be around 20 billion mana points' worth of mana. And he just needed to make one more normal sacrium golem to use as the base body for Prince's subconscious. Getting rid of the guy wasn't possible as long as he was alive. Their souls were intertwined. However, there was a way to separate them and use the forbidden enchantnt that extracted all soul fragnts from a body to literally implant consciousness into objects.
Before Prince had confird it, Damian had already read about the technique. And after creating Tenebris, he could sowhat verify that he felt more than just a normal connection with his enchanted black liquid fire compared to any regular enchantnt. Sotis, when his consciousness wandered, he could even catch glimpses of what Reize was doing. He had seen her crying alone, talking with Lumi and others, and even eating.
His strength as a mage lay in his powerful ability to focus, and he could freely switch between perspectives if he wanted. So, considering that, if Prince's soul fragnts were placed inside the golem, he should leave his body—or at least, that's what Damian had theorized.
Thirty years of living together had allowed Damian to sowhat figure the guy out. Prince had confird that he had used a forbidden enchantnt, sacrificing all his soul fragnts and mana core to seal both the demon lord and himself inside the diary. It was supposed to be their family's secret spell. They had been unable to move or act since a simple diary had no functions. Then soone—the guy wouldn't reveal who—had placed them inside the primordial throne room structure, sealing them with that odd multi-layered purple locking and preserving spell on the backside of Edgeheaven Island.
Prince wouldn't say it outright, but Damian could imagine Land Breaker discovering the spell and unlocking it sohow, only to end up with a demon lord inside his mind. Then, Land Breaker locked himself inside the lowest part of the dungeon. Years later, Damian had found the diary, ended up with Prince in his mind, and then foolishly used the waygate to bring Land Breaker back. The piece of shit could have stopped him back then, but for so reason, he hadn't..
'You burned my diary when I revealed myself! It still had 5% of my soul fragnts.. I knew you were a paranoid guy, and if I told you not to do it, you'd have done it even sooner!' Prince's voice rang in his mind.
Damian didn't reply. The guy could hear his curses anyway.
Long story short, Damian was confident that placing Prince's full consciousness inside a golem should at least allow the guy to control its movents. Not through his soul, but by using Damian's liquid mana, which Prince could still access. Even after their souls were separated, they would remain connected, much like Damian and his half-a-soul-costing enchantnt runic tool.
Technically, Prince's golem body, linked via mana threads to Damian's source mana, should grant the guy ntal command over the sacrium golem. He wouldn't be able to speak, but whenever Damian connected a mana thread to the golem, they should share a ntal link, similar to what he once had with Vidalia. The connection should work both ways, allowing Damian to read the guy's thoughts just as Prince had always been able to read his. And if needed, he could simply sever the mana thread to break the link.
Damian used the newly generated liquid mana keeping the two extra tanks for Dreamlight and created another golem using the sa amount of sacrium as before. This ti, however, there were three full tanks of mana inside the invisible box compared to the previous attempt. Once again, he flew away from the stone platform along with Lucian, keeping Jacob secured in another invisible box dragging behind them.
The mana pull occurred. They were at a greater distance than before, so the impact was weaker. Soon, another sacrium golem was made. It was perfect—shaped like an average human male, but without a face.
Landing nearby, Damian instructed Lucian to step away from him and the golem. She complied without question, taking Jacob with her.
Damian then took out the smooth white sphere that Sam had given him and infused it with his mana to activate it. The second he had seen it, he had known what it truly was. He had even used an analysis spell earlier to confirm it—a perfect mana stone. While it had no inherent mana attributes, sotis it could be used to store spells or mories. He had read about it before, and the analysis spell had confird it in its description. It was rumored that the full dungeon was sohow fitted inside it, but it just remained a rumor and even after taking the white crystal sphere the dungeon would still work as usual.
Just like the genica adamantium sphere, the sacrium golem's chest opened to receive the mana stone, storing it inside as its core. It could have been used to store a spell, but they were going to store sothing much greater than that.
Damian focused his consciousness and temporarily relinquished control of his body to Prince. It was more of a permission-based switch, and he could take over at any mont. They had done this before during his ascension trial.
Only the owner of the spell could use their intent to break their soul fragnts with the enchantnt tool Damian had created. Using his liquid mana, Prince directed his consciousness and intent to shatter his soul fragnts one by one, enchanting the core of the sacrium golem to house his consciousness.
The process was long and arduous, but at last, the Prince had done it.
Damian felt as though a great weight had lifted from his shoulders. Even his mind felt clearer than before. Using his second-ranker mana sense, he scanned every corner of his body and mind, searching for any lingering foreign mana or presence.
Nothing.
Previously, he had sensed a faint, blank space in his mind that he couldn't reach, even when his whole body had been covered in his own liquid mana and hundreds of mana threads. But now, that space was gone.
Prince was finally gone.
Damian looked at the motionless sacrium golem, then poured a wooden cup filled with his liquid mana over it. Within seconds, the golem absorbed the mana and began moving around chanically.
Guess it worked just as they had theorized.
