408 Moving House

“There are too many people living in this house now. It just so happens that our new house is not far from here. Tomorrow, I’ll go and see if Master Sun has finished building the courtyard. If it’s tidied up, we’ll move in imdiately.”

The courtyard that Zhao Zhan had purchased was only a street away from where they were currently living.

Because the house price in Shangjing was too expensive, if he bought a small courtyard, it wouldn’t feel nice. If he bought a big one, he would be a little short on money.

It just so happened that Fang Tianliu also didn’t find a suitable one and wanted to live next to them.

The two of them discussed and simply chose a large courtyard with three entrances and three exits. After that, they asked Master Sun to renovate it. Zhao Zhan left two courtyards, and Fang Tianliu left one house with one entrance. There was also a courtyard that was more spacious than a normal one-entrance house.

Because the house with three entries and three exits was too big, it couldn’t compare to the unit price of a small house, so it was much more cost-effective for them to buy it together.

“Her belly is getting bigger. If there is any discomfort, you can send soone to the house to call for Doctor Sun.”

Zhang Lingzhen’s mind was now completely focused on his wife, and he muttered to himself for a mont when he heard Zhao Zhan’s words. “You’re right. The most important thing right now is to buy two servants.”

As a result, they could not live in the house.

“It’s already been three months, so we can’t be careless since we already know about it. Before we move out, let’s get Madam Qin to co over and help us with so things,” Yue Jiaojiao said.

The manpower at ho was getting tight.

Zhang Lingzhen subconsciously glanced at Zhao Zhan. He knew how much his nephew loved his wife.

Although he was a little tempted, he couldn’t take away the person who made him happy.

“I’m only here to take care of her for a few days. Besides, we all live in the sa courtyard. It’s not like Madam Qin can’t help

now that she’s here.”

Hearing her serious tone, Zhang Lingzhen hesitated for a mont, then nodded. “Alright, I’ll go look for a few reliable servants tomorrow.”

Madam Zhang had been looking forward to getting pregnant for many years, so she was especially careful with this pregnancy. Usually, other than the necessary walking, she basically stayed in the room and did not co out.

The shop would open for business the next day. Li Xiangjun had to go to the shop to take care of things, so there was no one to take care of Luoning. Yue Jiaojiao and Li Xiangjun decided to take Zhao Nian and Luoning to the shop.

It just so happened that Lady Yun’s son was on holiday tomorrow at the academy, so he could watch over the two kids in the backyard of the shop.

“Madam Qin.” Yue Jiaojiao was also unsure how long she would be staying in the shop, so she carefully instructed Madam Qin, “If Madam Zhang’s condition is good today, you can take so ti off to pack up. After the business of the shop and restaurant has stabilized, we will move to the new house.”

“Don’t worry, my lady. I’ll definitely complete the task you’ve given .”

Madam Qin imdiately nodded in agreent.

Seeing that she had finished giving her instructions, Yue Jiaojiao sat on the horse carriage and headed towards the shop.

Lady Yun had been pacing in front of the shop for a long ti. When she saw her carriage, she imdiately raised her hand to greet her, but she nervously retracted her hand right after. “Boss, the sun has just risen. May I ask why you are here today?”

“It’s the first day of business, so I ca to take a look.”

Yue Jiaojiao got off the carriage with Zhao Zhan’s help and walked into the shop first. “The pastries we make are different from the other shops. We value freshness the most, so from now on, you’ll have to co here a little earlier than the other shopkeepers to start your day.”
