But the translucent serving maiden completely ignored Ji Yuan's request and had floated away.

Then Ji Yuan had a look of amusent when he saw her opponent; it was Tang Yun the cultivator that was carrying a pink rabbit in his arm outside the trial earlier and that he was now representing the Air Faction.
Ji Yuan frowned almost imdiately as he muttered, "Aren't they friends? I wonder how they are going to rig the fight…"
Yu Jingjing smiled angelically as she displayed her zither. "I believe that we've t earlier. My musical instrunt is a heaven-step treasure and I am saintess."
Tang Yun smiled as he displayed his heaven-step divine sword. "What a coincidence. I am also a saint…"
Yu Jingjing was gasping softly because he had just displayed the profound animus of a great saint through his divine sword…

Luckily there seed to be an invisible shield that prevented their profound arts from straying into the other fighters that were also having their duels in the battle arena.
Actually Ji Yuan had no interest in Yu Jingjing's rigged fight but she was the most enticing maiden in the battle arena and she really had really lovely legs under her short skirt so he found himself looking at her fight instead.
Yu Jingjing was swift and her profound arts were like the winds, slicing through the air as she raised her zither to display booming shockwaves at her opponent.
But this Tang Yun was even faster and Ji Yuan was astonished that he could move in a blink of an eye instantaneous, hence he could avoid Yu Jingjing's attacks all the ti and he even had several opportunities to attack Yu Jingjing.
However Yu Jingjing seed to have anticipated his moves and she quickly moved away, maintaining a social distancing so that she would not lose her advantage.
This was a battle between saints and Ji Yuan estimated that this fight would not be over so quickly. They seed almost evenly matched and it would at least 500 moves before the victor would be more pronounced; whoever had the most profound strength and had also taken the least hits would probably erge as the final victor.
However since they probably know each other, it may sowhat end up as a draw…
So Ji Yuan asked the serving maid. "Is there a draw for the competition?"
The beautiful serving maid nodded. "There is. They have half a watch (an hour) to determine the winner or else the fight will be a draw."

The beautiful serving maid grinned back. "You will lose all your slaughter points if it is a draw and one slaughter point for each level of the tournant."

But the beautiful serving maid interrupted with a cold smile. "You should not be surprised. You should have asked for the rules before the competition begins. Why? You've friends here that you do not want to fight?"

Xiang Li gasped as she realized the truth about the trial. "Then these serving attendants are all watchers. Big Brother, are you sure?"

Yu Jingjing burst into tears as she cried out tearfully. "Enough! I concede!"
Tang Yun laughed aloud. "I didn't have enough from you yet. This ends a little too soon."
Yu Jingjing's zither and the valuable contents of her spatial ring were forcefully removed from her and transferred to Tang Yun.
Ji Yuan was shocked by the outco of the battle and the brutal treatnt that was received by Yu Jingjing.
Even Xiang Li was shocked as she stamred to Ji Yuan. "Big Brother, aren't they friends?"
Ji Yuan blinked his eyes as he recalled the tearful and humiliating look that was on Yu Jingjing just before she was teleported away.
