Bai Quzhu frowned gazing at his phone.

"What is it, honey? Did you talk with the wang family?" Bai Kiyuki grabbed his hand anxiously.

"They don’t want anything to do with us." He sighed. It was expected of them. The wang family and the Bai family had separated long back due to so problems in recent years they both developed in g city into powerful strong houses.

To be expected, they both were competitors.

They had the least amount of connection these few years. He didn’t expect the wang elder to agree to him imdiately to give information about their younger generation.

Bai Yuri gazed at his family silently. his family wanted to find out more about that man through wang Yuna but he had other plans. He had already hired a private investigator to search everything he could about the young miss and anyone who she is close to.

It was quite easy to find because he knew for sure that Yuna was not alone there.

It had been ten minutes, and his parents were still arguing about connecting to the wang family.

By then his private investigator called him back with brief information about her.

"What do you know," he said hoarsely. His throat was hurting badly and he had caught a cold after being left out on the terrace for a long.

"The girl’s na is wang Yuna. She is currently doing eh photography major but she doesn’t attend a single day of class. Instead, she focuses most of her ti on her friend. She has only two friends. A girl nas Dani and a young man nad Joo Eric. She owns a small pastry shop in the main city along with that guy, but she hardly participates."

Yuri caught onto that na quickly. "Joo Eric. What did you find about him?"

"He is an eighteen-year-old school dropout. Presently we don’t know much about him. But we have his photo and Dani’s photo as well. I’ve sent everything via mail. Please check on it. I’ll call you back with more information about the three." The private investigator said softy.

"Keep up the good work." Bai Yuri imdiately went to his mail and checked on it.

The details he just ntioned were in a pdf and attached to the mail were three others. The first one was of that girl wang Yuna his distant cousin. She was seen holding an egg sandwich and smiling up at soone.

And the next photo was of a young girl in two braids. It was written in that photo that Yuna doesn’t et up with this girlfriend much, but they do hang out.

The last photo took a while to load up.

Yuri gazed up and massaged his aching neck.

"Did you find him? What is his na?" his mum appeared right by his side in an instant.

"I don’t know for sure yet."

"Co on you must know sothing." She scooted by his side to take a look at his phone. "Wow this kid is adorable."

Yuri gazed at his phone for a second and he couldn’t move. Nor breathe.

A smiling face peered up at him from his phone. The young man was holding a ice cream in his hand and was wearing the most casual outfit. But still, his beauty could not be hidden. Is soft wispy black hair was fluttering in the wind and his limpid honey-colored eyes were shimring brightly.

it was not the beauty that attracted him to the photo.

But the familiarity he felt when he saw that face. He had never t this man before but he had a feeling deep in his soul that he knew him.

A deep urge arose in him to touch the man’s pale skin to hug him in his warm embrace..... he did not have an inkling to why he was feeling this.

His trembling fingers gently traced the man’s face. "Joo Eric... it’s you, isn’t it?"

"Are you sure it’s him? He looks young." His mum leaned over and took a look at the photo.

Yuri did not answer her. Because he himself was not sure. He was half delirious when that attack happened and did not get a good look. All he rembered were a pair of pale legs and a blue shark print swim trunk.

’He looks very pale and thin....’ He thought as he gazed at the photo. The young man in his mory matched up with that photo for sure. He imdiately contacted his private investigator. "I need detailed information about Joo Eric as soon as you can."

And then the waiting ga began.

The whole Bai family waited around until they got a call again after an hour.

Bai Yuri hurriedly connected the call. "Did you find out about him?"

He was an initial suspect but later on, he was proven innocent. He, later on, changed his na to Joo Eric taking up his adopted brother Joo Haolei’s family na Joo."

Bai Yuri massaged his brows. "Looks like it was not Ruelle who saved my life. she has a lot to answer to."
