Eyes wide open, he glanced down at his legs.

Seeing his weird state, Aaron gently cupped his face. "What is it?"

A black-cloaked man stood there like he was waiting for them.

He had heard from Altren that this man was a mysterious being.

Kai seems very familiar with their ho as well. he walked over to his and Kang’s room directly.

"Place him on the bed," he gestured to Kang.

Zhu Kang peered at the black-cloaked figure vigilantly. ’Who is this? another snakehead mber?’

"He is a healer. He healed your wounds in the past," Aaron assured him and placed him on the bed.

Even so, he had his guard up. if in case this man ended up being like those crazy people outside, he needed to deal with him instantly.

the black-cloaked man gently touched Zhu Kang’s cheeks.

Aaron visibly saw his finger trembling. ’Who is this person? Why does he care so much about Zhu? Is he like that ruth as well?’ his vigilance went up a notch. His lover was being coveted by so many n. It kind of made him insecure.

The black-cloaked man without a word walked over to the bedside cabinet and took out the golden liquid Zhu had given him,

"This can heal his wounds." The mysterious man nad Kai assured him.

Zhu Kang curiously looked at this man. "Kai, right? How do you know about that?"

"I just know," the man whispered and held out his hand. "Where is the pink quartz crystal?"

Zhu Kang took it out of his pocket and handed it over to him. "’how do you know so much? Are you like ? or are you like jake?" he vigilantly peered at him.

The black-cloaked man’s pixelated face looked at him silently. "I have no intention to harm you. I’m... I’m here to heal you." he broke the crystal into a fine powder with just a fist and poured it into the small vial.

The golden liquid mixed in with the pink crystal created a beautiful sword.

Kang watched all this with his eyes wide open. ’this man knows that the quartz crystal can negate the side effects of the life-saving potion. Who the fuck is he?’

The man held the vial to his mouth/

Kang garbed his muscular wrist. "Was it you who healed in that car accident?"

System had ntioned that soone had interfered and healed him. He couldn’t think of anyone else suspicious other than this man.

Kai nodded. "I did. And I’m sorry that it caused you so much trouble. I was impulsive and intervened,"

Zhu Kang drank the vial of liquid and peered at the man. ’System... hey?’

He only then realized that the stupid system was sleeping again,

Sighing, he peered up at him. "You caused the tumor?"

"The world did. But I indirectly caused it" the man did not refute at all.

Aaron marched up to him and grabbed his cloak. "You made him sick?"

"I was only trying to help."

"But this man could have intentionally hurt you."

Zhu Kang looked at Kai. He did not get that malicious feeling from him. instead, his kind gestures and his trembling hand only showed that this man cared for him very much.

"ii don’t think he will harm ,"

Aaron gritted his teeth and let go of him. "You better heal him,"

Kai nodded as well.

Kai paused.

"Eric," Kai stepped-up close again and hugged him tightly.

The mont Zhu Kang heard that na he felt his whole-body freeze. his heart started to pound loudly on his chest.

Kai simply did not reply.

Aaron ca rushing inside and lifted him up. "Zhu..."

Zhu Kang looked at his face. Weirdly so the tone in which Aaron called his na sounded so similar to Kai. It gave him a weird feeling of familiarity. "aren’t you going to ask about it...."
