Zhu Kang glanced at his phone while holding Aaron gently in his embrace. The young hero snuggled into the crook of his neck. "I’m gonna be late." He whispered regretfully. He really didn’t want to leave Aaron’s warm embrace. But he had to.

"Aaron..." he whispered, pushing his head away slightly.

The superhero pouted. "Can you skip classes for the day?"

"No, I’m studying on scholarship you know. I don’t want to ss it up," he pulled Aaron’s hands off his waist.

Like a lot puppy, his lover peered at him. "I can pay your tuition fee."

"no," he patted his face gently. "go stalk from the distance." He opened the door behind him and walked out leaving the hero in the dark.

"I love you," Aaron whispered softly.

"oh wait," he opened the door and ran back in.

Aaron instantly pulled him into a tight hug. "I’m happy you decided to skip,"

"No no, I’m not skipping. I ca here to give you this," he took out the small vial from his system space and shoved it into Aaron’s hand.

Aaron glanced at the red liquid with a grin. "Lube?"

With a dull glance, he glared at him. "it’s a life-saving portion. It can heal any kind of injury. Practically bring the dead back to life."

Aaron shook the vail slightly. The red liquid sloshed around inside, letting off a warm red glow. "What is in this?’

"dicine. You have to keep it with you all ti. Do not hesitate to use it, Aaron. I’m not kidding. this thing can literally save lives,"

Aaron handed it back to him. "Then you must keep it,"

"No, I can buy more. I brought this for you. I’ll buy so for Altren too,"

Aaron frowned. "Why him?"

"He is at risk too," Kang glanced up at him cautiously. "don’t ask where I got this. it’s a secret I cannot share. And don’t ask what kind of risk we are facing.... Just ... just don’t talk to Jake... and carry this with you at all tis. promise ?"

Standing in the dark Aaron had a grim look on his face. He instantly ssaged his assistant. "Find out everything you can about Jake. My Zhu’s roommate. I need that report in an hour."

Like a shadow, he had been silently following his Zhu Kang for a while. When this Jake person approached his lover he instantly hid in a dark corner.

The rest of the day was uneventful. Kang slept through most of his classes. By the last period he was sitting with Ruth yawning loudly. "Can you share the test schedule with ,"

Kang peered at him. "is sothing okay? You don’t look good."

"I’m fine," Ruth gave him a smile.

With a huge grin on his face, he rushed out of the room,

"Kang, wait a minute," Ruth called him from behind.

"Hmm?" he glanced back.

"Its... shall we have a group study session? You are falling behind in your classes and I can help you out."

Kang thought about it for a mont. It sounded like a great idea. "Cool. See you then,"

"Aren’t you coming back to the dorm?" Ruth rushed after him.

"Ah that. I’m going to live with my brother for a while." He added with a grin. "I kind of missed his dusty old couch."

Ruth’s smiling face twitched slightly. "You do realize that students in the dorm can’t stay outside, right? I have been sighing for you very night for the past few days... you can’t stay out of campus,"

Kang who was happily rushing to the gate, paused. "Really? There is such a rule?"

Zhu Kang pouted. He really didn’t want to stay in that dorm anymore. Partially because he wanted to stay with his brother, mainly because Jake was his roommate. He did not want to be close to that person.

"hmm then I’ll inform the Dorm administrator that I’m leaving."
