Chapter 97 Isn'st that sexual harassnt?

As Ethan Lu drove his way back to his private villa, he yet again, received another phone call. Glancing at it, he clicked his tongue in annoyance before he answered the call.

"Say, my good grandson Tantan, when is my great grandchild coming?" The very instant the line connected, Ethan's face twisted.

'Great grandchild?!' He was too speechless at his grandfather's inquiry that Ethan couldn't construct a proper sentence. After all, he was focused on being used with her that could make him purely see her purely as a friend not soone he sort of like. What more? He just called him by his childhood nickna Tantan!

"What family is she from? I'll arrange a marriage to see my cute little grandkids product of my proudest creation ha? Ha?" Edward Lu on the line dawdled in pure excitent as if he was prepared to arrange the marriage if Ethan dropped Lexi's na.

"Gramps! Don't get ahead of yourself -- jeez!" Still hadn't recovered from his grandfather's advice on how to get a girl, Ethan grumbled.

[Short flashback]

"I rember you said you're a love guru, right?" Ethan's eyes lit up as he suddenly rembered how his grandfather boast that won flock on him in his pri years; that even her late grandmother who was the most conservative woman in the world gave the white flag to him.

After Edward Lu coughed his lungs out by the abrupt topic, he cleared his throat and answered. "Of course, I am! There's no woman at that ti that wouldn't confess to !"

"I mastered the craft of romance through each and everyone's help. My child, you might not know this but sotis, looks weren't enough. You need to be a little rough and harsh, pinned them on the wall or throw them to bed -- they like it rough and sotis, nasty hehe." Edward Lu touched the tip of his blanched mustache as he heartily gave his advice. However, Ethan looked at him in disdain as if he could not believe or accept this person as his grandfather.

"Isn't that sexual harassnt?"

"What sexual harassnt? They liked it in the end! Especially if she was unsure of her feelings!" Displeased at Ethan's ungratefulness of his benevolence.

Granting that Ethan was a known playboy, Edward Lu was well-versed of his grandson's ploy and why he chose to be one. After all, Ethan always wanted to divert the eyes of the core mbers of the Lu clan away from him that led him to what he was now. However, Edward was more worried about this grandchild of his because Ethan, not for once, vied for power nor did he showed sched that he planned to take over as the family head. Which made him think that Ethan would continue this way until Edward Lu ran out of life.

"Nevermind then," Ethan shook his head in disappointnt. He regretted for wanting so decent advice from his grandfather as Ethan would never unhear his statent and see his dignified grandfather the sa way ever again.

"Not unless, she's like your grandmother, who was too hard to get, then, there's a different way to get her." Ignoring his grandson, Edward Lu continued as he slowly caressed his mustache and pondered about sothing.

Although Ethan's initial question in mind wasn't about to get a girl as he knew it like it was written at the back of his mind, his interest was piqued upon hearing the solemn tone of his grandfather. Unconsciously, he beca more attentive as he anticipated his grandfather's next words.

"Don't contact her and she'll miss your presence."

"That's it," Ethan's interest instantly vanished as he heard his grandfather's advice. In his perspective, three days were already enough to know if Lexi would even think about him which she didn't!

The night went as both grandfather-grandson duo bantered just about anything.

[Present Ti]

"I hope you're doing well Gramps… I'm hanging up," With that said piece, Ethan imdiately hang up on his persistent grandfather. Just talking with him reminds him of his words that nights, hence, Ethan Lu wanted to retain the slightest delusion that his grandfather was a normal person.

As soon as he cut the line with his grandfather, Ethan's phone rang again. Fortunately, he arrived at his place as he drove with his usual speed unlike when Lexi on board. Parking his luxurious car, Ethan frowned to see the caller ID of Chris Yu.

"What?" It was evident by his voice that Ethan wasn't in a good mood receiving calls from everyone.

"Woah, what's up with brother Mo and you? I sll sothing fishy eh?" On the line, Chris Yu sounded bemused as he didn't expected Ethan's response sa with Morris Liu. Based on their voice, both seed to wake up on the wrong side of the bed.

"Whatever, but Ethan, about Wren Tanaka… it seems like the Han family was gaining his favor." Shrugging his curiosity behind the sullen mood of both his friends, Chris Yu get down to business. He resud,

"Also, since that banquet was like his proclamation of the people he wanted to work with and you're the only one among us who was invited -- you know the drill."

"Uh, that… don't worry, soone is handling it." Scratching his temple, Ethan Lu affird as he was reminded of Lexi's smiling face when she heard from Wren Tanaka. Of course, Ethan wasn't dumb enough not to figured the facade of that morable yet life-threatening banquet.

It's not that he was uncertain if he could make a proper deal with Wren Tanaka, however, Ethan sohow wanted for Lexi to accomplish whatever she needed to complete as she stoop so low to cut whatever ties she had with Morris Liu. Also, he was confident on Lexi especially if she set her mind to it.

"Soone? Don't tell it's your girl?" Chris Yu speculated as he could discern the cringy gentleness from Ethan Lu's voice when he uttered the word 'soone'.
