"So, you are saying that Ethan has a system?" Lexi clarified as she needed to know if everything that was laid on the table was true.
"Yes..." In unison, Ethan Lu and Churu nodded their head. Ethan reclining on the long couch, Lexi on the single-seater sofa, while Churu in the middle of the small round table.
Earlier, though they were shocked that both husband and wife could see Churu, they decided to talk privately. After all, this matter shouldn't be discussed in the open, nor it was okay for it to be talked about when other people were around — that includes their assistants.
"And you also had a system called, what is it again?" After Lexi, it was Ethan Lu's turn to ask a question and then turned to Churu who diligently answered without any delay.
"Oto Love System — I ntioned it when I explained Battle of Life to you." Churu answered in a matter of fact tone. With that, Ethan Lu recalled that Churu did ntion another system's na that she used to compare with his.
"Oto love... what's that for?" Ethan Lu knitted his brows as he sohow got the gist of the system was all about: about love of course.
However, he didn't want to assu as this whole fiasco was too unpredictable that it was not a good idea to just assu. He needed to hear it straight from Lexi's mouth.
Lexi and Churu cast each other a glance before Lexi ekly smiled. Well, since now that Ethan could see Churu, she could explain it to him. Although she was afraid that he might feel a little betrayed after hearing the whole story.
"Well, rember when I committed suicide? I died, but didn't."
"What?!" Surprised, Ethan Lu gasped. Does that an Lexi was what? A beautiful and intellectual zombie? An undead?!
"I know! But, that's when I received the system and her, as the manual. To make things short, instead of completely dying, I didn't." Lexi jerked her chin to Churu's direction as she contemplated the most precise and shortest explanation. She played with her fingers because the more she spoke the truth, the more her heart raced. She loves Ethan, yes. However, just the thought that he had been honest to her and yet, Lexi didn't even ntion this to him guilt her.
"It has these points, perks, and ridiculous task but now that I think about it, all task was for you and to get closer..." Lexi continued to explain every detail of the so-called system and everything she rembered.
Although she was hesitant, Lexi trusted him and even if he might get mad, she knew he would eventually understand. Therefore, Lexi didn't leave anything behind as she ca clean.
"So, that's the Oto Love System. I laughed at it at first but, I am thankful for it because it led to you." After so ti, Lexi finally finished explaining. "No, it didn't lead to you but actually, it pushed to you. It was the type of push that I will always be thankful for."
A bitter smile ford on her lips as she looked at him, Ethan hanging his head low. She didn't know what he was thinking nor she was seeing his expression. But one thing was for sure, he was displeased or so Lexi thought.
"Oy, are you mad?" Churu, who remained silent and let Lexi take the floor, tilted her head to the side as she was slightly worried.
"Why..." Slowly, Ethan Lu raised his head as he whispered. Both Lexi and Churu gulped a mouthful of saliva. "Why didn't I have the sa system? I want to have the sa system where I can see how many allure points I gained and watch my wife fall for !" Frustrated to the core, Ethan Lu grumbled in distress.
