Hearing that man's deep voice, the two beauties sunbathing in that spot looked in the direction of King Carline, surprised to see him in such a short ti after Minos' 'visit.'
"Father! Are you back already? I thought you would join the rest of the Counter-Revolutionary Army on the Black Plain." Kara said this as she looked up, directly into her old father's eyes.
At the sa ti, Jade was still lying, only now smiling as a good wife would after seeing her beloved husband again after weeks apart...
King Carline then said. "I was going to do that, but after discovering that scoundrel's actions, I couldn't help myself and run back here!"
"All this ti, I was worried that sothing worse had happened to you..."
Then he sat down in a chair over there, breathing deeply, as if he had just released a burden from his shoulders.
Seeing those two well had been a great relief to him!

The two softly murmured, both feeling guilty for what they had done to Minos during those unforgettable days.
Particularly Jade, since Kara had not bothered to probe her mother and Minos during this period. After all, there was no reason for her to be suspicious of her dear mother getting into bed with an enemy!
Besides, Minos had stayed in this place with her most of the ti, and this young redhead was not possessive about her companions either. So, she was entirely in the dark about Jade's adventures with him.

Having heard all that, Kara smiled at her father, following her mother's lead, "Hmm, I guess that must be it."

"Honey, even though that person is terrible, I don't think we can stand against him." She said this softly, in a tone that King Carline only heard from her in more intimate monts.

"Jade..." King Carline said this, feeling bad that his wife had experienced such terror.
He then jumped up from where he was and promptly hugged her, trying to make her feel protected now that he was there.
"How about that? Let's talk more about it and consider the situation after Minos' journey of terror is over. Then, if things remain troubling, we'll do as you and Kara want." He said in a comforting tone, feeling bad but also obligated to do such a thing.
"Is that true?" Jade asked as she looked up and observed her husband's gray eyes. "Then I feel better."
She then rested her head on King Carline's chest, smiling softly. "Well, if you're willing to make so many sacrifices for , let help you with all this, okay?"
"You and Linette already have too great an antipathy toward that person. So, it's better if Kara or I deal with him in the future."
