Abby closed her eyes for a mont, ignoring her burning muscles, the blood covering her body, and the strong sll of iron in the air.
Her lips lifted slightly, forming an arc that she hadn't shown in a long ti, while a relieved sound broke from her throat, which seed to have been sealed for a long ti.
"Finally," she murmured, ignoring the bodies of her enemies, as well as the vast and foggy dinsion where she had spent the last few years.
Abby didn't know how much ti had passed since she left her companions in the Seraphim Dinsion. Her experiences were many in this inheritance, and she felt everything happened quickly. However, Abby judged that several years, maybe decades, had passed until this mont.
Abby wished she had been faster. In many monts, she strove for that. But absorbing the opportunities and overcoming the challenges left by Minos cost her ti and effort.
Fortunately, she reached the peak of level 125, arriving at the end of the last challenge of the inheritance today just one step away from a breakthrough!
It was at this last mont of the inheritance that she thought of her husband and the Upper Realm, having reserved herself for the challenges of the inheritance until then.
Feeling her wounds closing and her energy growing within her, she opened her eyes in expectation. But she didn't see Minos.
The golden throne behind the inheritance materialized for her, standing in front of her for the first ti since she entered the challenge years ago.
"Congratulations, madam. With great determination and courage, you overca all the obstacles in your path, successfully eliminating all your adversaries," said the androgynous voice of the throne, while a golden glow illuminated Abby's body.
Then, as if the throne were indicating another direction, Abby turned her attention to a darkened area of that region, where, little by little, a throne of black gold materialized, pulsing with the power of death.
"But your journey to the Upper Realm is not over yet. Your success will be decided now," the voice of the throne echoed through the dinsion, resounding for several seconds in Abby's mind. "Connect to the Throne of the Law of Death or fail and return to the Seraphim Dinsion.
This is all my master could and can do for you. Everything now depends only on you."
Abby didn't hesitate for a mont, not wasting ti with questions. Confident in herself, she advanced toward the throne, leaving all questions for when she entered the realm.
With each step toward the throne, her powers seed to increase, with the traces of the Devil she had been strengthening.
The Law of Death was one of the most singular, an entity common to both Hell and the Upper Realm.
The powers of its holders, in whichever dinsions, were similar.
Having already experienced having an absolute law in her power, Abby didn't find the throne's reaction strange when she tried to connect to that essence. She felt familiar with that power, connecting to it and learning how to master it masterfully.
'When I was in Hell, I was feeble. I held so of the most impressive powers, but I couldn't use even 10% of their possibilities. At most, I had a big army of undead and good prospects. Now, however…'
Her smile grew even larger as she sat on the throne of black gold, her power resonating through that region, vibrating the spatial structures shaped by Minos.
Minos' throne disappeared as soon as it saw where Abby would succeed, before the dinsion cracked, approaching its end.
Abby was focused on her growth, which was already taking her to level 126, so she didn't notice when the surrounding space changed.
The dinsion where she had massacred her last adversaries disappeared, while her surroundings were replaced by a well-lit space, full of water.
Abby's body didn't find it strange when she was subrged in that new reality. Everything seed natural to her, while her senses changed, evolving internally and externally.
Abby's physical characteristics changed considerably as she breathed, but also brought her information related to her new domain.
The surrounding space was not a re random place in the Upper Realm. This was her domain, the ho of her Throne of the Law of Death, the region where she would be sovereign from now on, where she would have her responsibilities and rights as an immortal!
Opening her eyes after consolidating her forces at the beginning of level 126, with her improvents post-conquest of a throne, Abby saw for the first ti her 'kingdom of death'.
At that mont, not only the city near the palace of the Throne of the Law of Death caught her attention, but the feeling of distant family mbers and heirs filled her heart with joy.
Abby had thought it would take so ti until her blood relatives, who decided to ascend, arrived in the Upper Realm after her success. But seconds after finishing her promotion to beco an Entitled Deity, she felt several auras connected to her throne crossing the space.
As if they were lightning from a storm, several individuals connected to Abby's lineage entered the realm, arriving at different points around the palace of death of the newest Deity of the dinsion.
The powers of those who chose to co with Abby to the realm were increasing according to her promotion, with her parents advancing until they reached the end of the 12th stage before even sighting their daughter.
'So that's how it happens…' Abby looked happily at her parents, cousins, and a grandson only.
The Stuart family already had several generations in the Spiritual World and even in Zocarro. But Abby's lineage had not been responsible for that. Sarah; daughter of Gloria; and Rowan; son of Ruth; were the true pillars behind the family's numbers.
Abby expected not to see so many people joining her in the Upper Realm and also didn't expect to see Kendrick there. Her son was determined to make his own way, and the fact that she could help him with her progress today was enough to make her happy for him.
Curious about the situation after her departure for Minos' inheritance, Abby appeared next to her parents.
"Congratulations on your success, my daughter!" said Abby's mother with a bright smile, still trembling with emotion.
"Haha, that's my daughter! You did very well! The first for the family to advance to the realm!" said Abby's father, proud of her unequaled performance.
Abby understood she had passed Segiel, the first of Minos' wives to enter one of his inheritances.
"Oh? I didn't expect that. How were things before your departure? What's the situation of the family?"
Abby's father continued laughing but didn't answer his daughter's question directly. "Now we should focus on finding Minos, Abby. You shouldn't worry about other things."
Abby felt her heart race, feeling the image of her husband forming in her mind. Of course, she desired him more than anything. But Minos was already powerful beyond her comprehension. Her greatest concern now was still those she left behind.
However, her parents knew better than she did about the family's situation!
"If everything is fine, then indeed, we should focus on Minos and our situation. We've just had a great victory in our plans, but we're in an unknown and dangerous place. Let's not lower our guards!" Abby said as she looked around, unable to ignore the countless powerful auras existing in her palace and the nearby city.
In her journey until then, few were the Celestials she had the chance to et. But today, in a few seconds, she felt more than a hundred of them!
'Now we're in the final stage… We have to stay firm until we're by Minos' side!'
