The minute Abby promised passed slowly, as if it were an eternity. Watching young Vicente suffer as he received the crown of darkness from her powers was almost as torturous for the four Supres there as it was for the black-haired young man.
Little by little they were beginning to feel the aura of the high-level Devils
approaching their position, and both were dreading what might happen if it continued like this.
Vicente seed to be improving slowly, as if he were a tortoise competing with the fastest of birds.
Ruth alternated her gaze between the human-looking young man and the direction in which the enemy closest to them was coming from.
Gloria circled her powers in preparation, fearing that sothing would happen and they would engage in combat.
Minos himself couldn't help but turn his gaze to the future, trying to spy out the last-minute success or failure of their strategy.
He was fully aware that the future was uncertain. The visions he had rarely co true. Sotis they were very certain, but most of the ti they contained differences from what actually happened. If individuals like Minos and his wives, who were already very powerful when they entered Hell the first ti, grew a lot when they got their crowns, Vicente, who was much weaker than those versions of them, grew even more!
The boy didn't go so far as to threaten to beco a Supre, but he left what would have been the beginning of the 11th stage, entering the final part of that cultivation range.
Opening his eyes, on the ground around the group, Vicente felt the surrounding space different, feeling even more at ho than he had earlier. His heart beat differently and his Throne of Darkness seed to want to take him sowhere. But he quickly regained his senses, his reason working to make him understand the basics of this situation.
Abby could clearly control him as she saw fit. But he could feel that she was giving him freedom like the one he had before the infernal crown on his head integrated with his soul.
He felt a black liquid float around one of his hands, while he also noticed the massive presence of souls and corpses on the ground of this dinsion.
"That..! His eyes widened as he looked at the ground, realizing that it was nothing more than a trendous compaction of the dead!
These dead were waiting to be commanded and then given the chance to transcend, reincarnating for a new journey, in a new world and universe.
He felt curious, but his mind was prevented from going any further when a voice brought him back to reality.
"Vicente, it's ti to say goodbye, Minos said as he helped the young man to his feet, smiling at the boy, who was certainly shocked now. "Soon you'll feel sothing strange. You'll understand when it happens. That will be your signal to take advantage of Hell's opportunities. Be careful and don't die. We'll see you again when you're stronger."
While Vicente was still processing everything that was happening, Minos pressed his fingers tightly against his hands, instantly forcing the space to bend to his will. Vicente watched Minos and the three diabolical won being covered by the decaying space, still trying to understand everything, even more so the mission he was supposed to fulfill.
He had upgraded his level and was in Hell. Were they just going to abandon him there? Minos gave his last piece of advice before disappearing completely. "For now, flee to the north. Very powerful enemies are coming this way. Don't hesitate to hide and use everything at your disposal to escape. They can kill you faster than that enemy from earlier!"
The four of them disappeared, unable to see the look of terror on Vicente's face. They crossed space-ti again, returning to the universe itself, in particular, the planet of Forfex.
The journey for them was quite quick. Minos had marked the world of Forfex to facilitate their journey there from Hell, making it possible for them to arrive just a few days after their departure.
For them it had only been a few hours in Hell, but the ti in Hell and on the planet of Forfex had very different passages. Luckily for them, the advantage was in favor of those who lived on the world they returned to.
"Are they coming after us?" Gloria asked as soon as they identified that they were not far from where they had left before, close to reaching the place that Forfex's soul fragnt had indicated to them.
Abby and Ruth watched as the spatial distortion they had used closed completely, with Minos assuring them that it wouldn't be so easy for their enemies to get there using the sa path as them.
"Yes, but it will take them longer to reach us." He looked at the map of Forfex, understanding the route they should take now. "But ti is short and they should be here soon. So let's hurry. We must quickly fulfill our promise to Forfex and try out the technology he studied!"
The three nodded, then flew off after him, leaving behind the idea that they had thrown a poor ignoramus into Hell and not even given him a manual.
Vicente was now in his toughest survival test. But that wasn't their problem. Their lives were also hanging by a thread and the four of them didn't intend to make it easy for anyone to defeat them when they had already gone so far in their cultivation.
