Minos looked at Abby and then flapped his wings, leaving her further behind while the undead and guardians she had summoned moved through the ground and air, going against the enemy horde in the sa rush as their opponents.
The characteristic hourglass that Minos always counted was floating near him, while ti passed in one way for him and in another, subtly different way for Qhava.
Qhava let an angry 'tsk' escape her rocky lips, feeling Minos' tricky ability on her skin, tricky to escape even at his level. She wouldn't suffer from this ability enough to worry about Minos being a danger even today, but she wanted more and more to end this opponent's life.
Advancing directly against him, she let her undead and guardians engage in combat with Abby's summons. Eliminating another Devil could be very relevant to her and give her even more power. But Minos' display of power that day was worrying her. Abby certainly wouldn't get very far even if she slowed down her hunt a little, but Minos was different. She sensed he could at any mont make use of so card up his sleeve and escape, get out of her reach, and beco a problem in the future.
Abby watched as Qhava fell right into Minos' plan, but she remained nervous, holding her position between her harem sisters and the start of the battle of their summoning, as well as Minos against the enemies.
'I hope they're quick. We won't last long,' Abby thought to herself, aware that her summons was weaker than Qhava's, although not enough for them to fall instantly. Besides, Minos could at most exchange a few blows with the enemy. In a few monts, he would surely be exhausted and seriously injured!
Minos knew his fate and went ahead anyway, acting to mitigate the damage of this terrible encounter with Qhava just after his qualitative promotion. He knew he only had one chance and used all his powers from the start of the fight.
He made his support skills, such as Devouring Art and his innate ability, co into play directly against Qhava's summons. As the enemies' energy ca at him and his won, he sealed the crown of darkness on his head, preventing the enemy from trying to take control of him.
One of his dragon claws sliced through the air, sending a spatial slash towards Qhava's huge scythe. This attack crossed the entire distance between them, arriving in front of the blade of the Devil's weapon in his sights and forcing her to defend herself.
Qhava skillfully dealt with Minos' attack, using her weapon to deflect the path of the dragon claws, while feeling a gigantic paw descend from the sky above her.
A vortex of blades covered her surroundings, eliminating many of the enemy's undead and guardians, while Qhava covered herself with a layer of rocky darkness, leaving no room for Minos' physical blows.
Her mind was also prepared, having already shaken off the Infinite Dream attack he tried to put on her.
"Child's play." She huffed angrily, finally shaking off all Minos' blows and then raising her weapon vertically, preparing her move.
"Now let's test how formidable your defense is, Minos. Your attacks are only capable of making feel itchy. I hope your defense is your strong point."
As she said this, the effects of Minos' abilities wore off, quickly causing him to see all his attempts break down as a gigantic scythe ca violently toward him.
Anyone else would be frozen in fear and certain that they would die in such a situation. Being in Hell and facing a level 128 Devil, fate didn't look promising for Minos at that mont.
But he wasn't one to get carried away by his imdiate situation.
'I can take just one move. That's all I can do before my ti runs out,' he thought, hoping to be in the tiline where sothing would happen and not the one where he would die after Qhava's second move.
When he was hit hard, Minos felt his entire skeleton tremble, with his spiritual essence wavering as if it were going to be pierced through and destroyed after so many temperants of his journey. Even his Absolute grade absorbable weapons proved fragile like never before, with him feeling a pain in his chest that rooted throughout his body.
But from the attack of a level 128 True Celestial, all Minos lost was one of his seraphim wings, crashing monts later against the hard ground of Hell, but enduring the worst.
The sound of pain ca from his lips as his skin cleared and his body returned to its human form. His aura was ravaged, and his remaining wings were red with his blood. He was breathing, strong enough to get up and face Qhava's gaze, but he had lost all his strength after spending everything he had on the previous attacks and on defense before her attack.
In this situation, she looked at him in amazent, seeing his won suffering against her summons, with Abby futilely trying to use her own crown to suppress Qhava.
They were very close to Abby's territory, but even with so advantages that the territory gave her, this blue-haired woman couldn't do any damage that would truly block Qhava.
At that mont, the won of Minos felt their cultivation decline, worrying a few grades as they saw him have his strength limited at the end of level 123.
"Any last words?" Qhava smiled as she felt it had all been a bluff, feeling again the good sensation of catching up with this group, in control of their lives and deaths.
"Good luck in your future wars," Minos said under his breath, too exhausted to even speak or express his feelings. But even so, he ford a faint smile. "They begin now."
Qhava changed her expression, narrowing her eyes as she took a deep look at Minos, saw nothing, and then turned her gaze beyond this little rebel group.
On the horizon in the distance, she spotted two figures, both coming from different places, but both presenting the sa level of threat.
