Raito stood in the middle of the street, his daggers still gleaming with the aftermath of the fight. Blood, sweat, and determination coated his hands, but his expression was calm. He had protected the civilians, cleared the street, and shown everyone just what he was capable of.

Every one of Aiko’s classmates watched in stunned silence as Raito’s daggers glead, the streets around him cleared of the goblin threat. But the sounds of chaos were far from over. From the distant streets ca the rumble of monsters and the screams of terrified civilians.

"Let see what’s happening in the other streets," Raito muttered.

"Flight—activate," he added, and in an instant, he launched into the air, soaring above the city. The classmates’ jaws dropped as they saw him leap from building to building, moving faster than the eye could follow.

He landed smoothly on the opposite side of the street, and the onlookers whispered among themselves.

"Is that Raito? The one who’s been pretending to be weak?"

"His power... it’s manifested. And look at his physique! He’s grown taller, more mature. He’s... different."

anwhile, Raito’s eyes swept the street ahead. A new wave of undead was marching forward, 155 of them in total, terrorizing civilians. He raised his hand, commanding authority over the battlefield.

"Activate Necromancer Heir skill," Raito ordered.

The system responded imdiately. Green energy flashed before his eyes, and a horde of undead were under his command from the street.

Every single one of the 150 undead that had been attacking civilians froze instantly, as if a switch had been flipped. They paused mid-attack, their vacant eyes now fixed on Raito.

Raito stretched out his hand. "Go. Protect every civilian," he commanded.

"No... you’re a monster," he muttered, but the words were almost lost as the undead scattered into every street, obeying his will flawlessly.

From the sky, a terrifying presence erged: Chira. Its body was colossal, wings cutting through the air, flas spewing from its mouth in deadly arcs. Though officially rank A, whispers said it was as powerful as a rank S monster.

Raito’s eyes narrowed. This isn’t normal... soone unleashed this intentionally.

Without hesitation, he took flight, eting Chira head-on. The two locked eyes in mid-air, predator against predator. Fire licked toward him, but Raito activated his shield in an instant. The searing heat t the barrier with a roar, but he pressed forward, stabbing his scorpion stinger dagger into one of Chira’s blazing eyes.

The monster shrieked, snapping its head toward him and revealing a twin-headed strike formation. Claws slashed with blinding speed, forcing Raito to dodge mid-air, retreating strategically. He lunged to pierce its chest, but Chira was cunning—its claw intercepted his dagger. The two forces clashed, Raito’s arms burning from the pressure, before the monster shoved him backward with imnse strength.

Raito’s lips curled into a grin. Twenty seconds... that’s all you last.

With lightning speed, he twisted and lunged, and in a heartbeat, Chira crashed to the ground, defeated. The city below trembled from the sheer impact of the monster’s fall.

Raito hovered above, studying the fallen beast. I could’ve consud this... could’ve used it for materials... but not this ti.

His gaze shifted, catching sight of Jiro approaching. The man had once faced Raito when he teetered on the edge of berserk. Jiro’s mouth fell open as he saw what had transpired, utterly stunned. Even he hadn’t expected Raito to defeat Chira so decisively, so flawlessly.

"Oh no... they saw ," Raito thought, heart racing. "I was so focused on fighting the monster, I didn’t notice. Now I rember—so of Aiko’s classmates saw take off into the streets after defeating Chira. And now... this man, Jiro, is watching ."

Raito landed gracefully on the ground, walking away with asured steps.

"Hey! Stop! I know it’s you!" Jiro called out, closing the distance. "I saw you before!"

"I don’t know you. I’ve never seen you," Raito replied, keeping his composure. "This is the first ti we’re eting."

Jiro’s eyes narrowed. "Wait... how were you able to defeat Chira? Not just that—you cleared that Rank A dungeon, and all those Rank B monsters. You fought ... I’ve been looking for you. I haven’t even had a chance to talk to you!"

Raito turned to face him squarely, the tension between them thick in the air.

"Yes, I did. You saw defeat Chira, you know it’s mine. Are you going to claim it for yourself? If you don’t, or if you pretend you didn’t see , I will leave it for you—you can claim the reward if you want," Raito said calmly.

"No... that’s not what I want. I want to talk to you... to have you join my own tag, the guild I work for," Jiro said firmly.

Raito raised an eyebrow. "No? Are you sure this is the right ti for this conversation? There are monsters still attacking the city."

"No, the biggest threats were Chira and the other monsters. Hunters have arrived, and every other street has been cleared," Raito explained.

Jiro nodded slowly. "Is that so? I will take my leave. You killed Chira, but don’t think I saw anything."

"I’m about to leave," Raito said.

"No. If you leave and don’t want to talk, you know I have dia influence. I can put this on international television. You’re a solo fighter who doesn’t want people to know... but this will end everything," Jiro warned.

Raito paused, turning back toward him. "Are you joking? You can do whatever you want, but how? What evidence do you have that I actually defeated Chira?"

Without a word, Jiro pulled out his phone and played the footage, the screen showing every mont of Raito’s fight.

Raito’s eyes widened as he watched himself in action, effortlessly defeating Chira. Shock registered on his face. Instinctively, he reached out to grab the phone.

Jiro jumped back, tucking the phone safely into his pocket. "Not happening," he said with a smirk.

"Give that phone. Delete it." Raito’s voice was low, controlled. "Now."
