"Hey, Haruya... I’ll be leaving now," Raito said.

As the security opened the door, Raito moved toward the window. From about seventy feet above the ground, he jumped, landing perfectly. Boom.

He imdiately started running, his figure swift and precise.

Haruya opened the window, glancing down at him, along with so of the security.

Oh no... this is bad. They didn’t see my face... good. Still, I have to disappear fast, Raito thought, jogging away into the distance, his presence remaining a mystery.

Raito didn’t stop running. His footsteps hamred against the pavent until—

SHUAAAA—!

Mana flared beneath him and he shot upward, vanishing into the night sky like a streak of shadow.

From the hospital window, Takumi stared, stunned.

"...He really isn’t normal," he whispered.

Raito glided across the rooftops, landing silently on the balcony of his apartnt. He exhaled deeply.

"Good... I didn’t get caught."

His tone carried cold relief.

"No one knows my na. No one saw my face. I need to stay low for now."

He locked the balcony door.

"The dia attention is going to be a headache... and Greed hasn’t acted up which is also the System Slave."

He tightened his fist.

"That’s good. I’ve slaughtered enough beasts for one day."

Raito grabbed a plate of food and collapsed onto his bed.

He flicked on the TV without thinking.

—BREAKING NEWS—

The entire screen turned red.

"The mysterious hunter who cleared the catastrophic dungeon has been sighted!"

Raito almost spit out his food.

"...you’ve got to be kidding ."

The reporter continued:

"His face remains hidden under a hoodie. However—"

The screen shifted to photos of Daichi and Haruya.

"These two Hunters were seen closely interacting with him. They may have ties to the unknown hunter."

Raito’s jaw tightened.

"They’re involving them now...?"

"And more shocking—he is confird to use elite-grade regeneration magic, a skill even top healers cannot perform!"

A large display appeared.

"Footage retrieved from the hospital shows the unknown hunter healing a fully amputated limb."

The clip played.

Raito’s hand extended toward Yuta’s severed leg.

Light twisted and coiled around his palm.

Flesh grew.

Bone reconstructed.

Skin sealed.

A perfect restoration—instant and supernatural.

Haruya’s gasp echoed in the video.

The news anchors nearly shouted:

"This level of regeneration is unheard of!"

"Multiple guilds are already preparing offers!"

"Experts estimate that if he joins any association, his monthly value could reach 100 million to 1 billion yen!"

"He solo-cleared a dungeon beyond the S-rank classification!"

"He carried the entire raid alone!"

Raito clicked the TV off.

Silence flooded the room.

"...Enough."

He leaned back, eyes sharp, aura flickering like a barely contained storm.

"This attention... is starting to piss off."

He picked up his chopsticks again.

"But if the world keeps hunting , I’ll show it why that’s a mistake."

Raito’s phone vibrated beside his bed—

vrrrm... vrrrm... vrrrm...

The screen lit up.

Raito frowned.

"...Jiro? Why the hell is he calling this early?"

He picked up.

"Hello?" Raito said.

"Raito. It’s been a while," Jiro’s calm voice ca through.

"Yeah. Sure has," Raito replied, brushing his hair aside.

"I’d like to see you today. Co to my mansion," Jiro said.

"I’ll pass. I’m not stepping outside today," Raito answered without hesitation.

"Is that so? Then... can I co to your apartnt?" Jiro asked.

Raito sighed. "Yeah, that’s fine. Just you, though. You draw too much attention. You’re popular. Being seen with will make things weird."

"No, no. It’s fine. I just want to see you," Jiro said.

"...Fine," Raito said, hanging up.

Raito tossed the phone aside.

"Why did this dude have to co now...? The neighbors already started giving weird looks last month when those two hunters ca here. Now a big-shot like Jiro shows up—people will start asking questions again. I don’t want to answer anything..."

Raito finished his noodles, placed the plate in the kitchen, and sighed deeply.

A few minutes passed.

BOOM BOOM BOOM.

A knock echoed through the apartnt.

"I’m coming..." Raito muttered, pushing himself up and walking to the door.

He opened it a little.

"Who is— oh. It’s you."

He blinked. "You ca fast."

"I rushed," Jiro said. "Can I co in?"

"Yeah, co in."

Jiro stepped inside, silent, carefully scanning every inch of the small apartnt like he was studying a dungeon chamber.

"Are you here to talk... or are you just going to inspect the whole place?" Raito asked coldly.

Jiro chuckled. "It’s funny. You could easily afford a mansion, yet you insist on living here."

"Maybe," Raito muttered.

Jiro’s smile slowly faded. His eyes sharpened—serious, calm, piercing.

"Let’s get straight to the point. No sugarcoating."

His voice lowered.

"Raito... are you the mysterious hunter from the dungeon?"

Raito exhaled sharply.

"I knew you were going to ask that. Yes. And before you think of doing anything reckless—don’t. Don’t even think about killing anyone or silencing the dia."

Jiro laughed quietly.

"Have you forgotten our contract? I’d never do sothing like that," he said.

His tone deepened.

"I just needed to hear it... from your own mouth. Because the world is losing its mind."

Raito crossed his arms and stared at Jiro.

"So now that you’re done... and you’ve already heard what you wanted to hear... leave," Raito said. "You’re a hunter. You, Kira, and I’m sure you’ve already seen Daichi and Haruya. They know exactly how powerful I am. I hope you don’t dare say a word outside. I already warned you."

"Already? I just got here and you’re kicking out?" Jiro raised a brow. "You’re telling there’s nothing more to talk about?"

Raito sighed. "Do you have anything else to say?"

"Yes," Jiro said. His tone sharpened. "The contract we made is fine. You work only for , and I respect your conditions. But... Raito, I want you to be officially signed to my guild."

"You don’t even have a guild," Raito said flatly. "Maybe you’re a vice-chairman in the one you work for, I don’t care. Either way—sorry. I’m not interested in joining anything. The only reason I agreed to work with you at all is because the contract lets refuse missions, leave whenever I want, and you pay 5 million yen or more. That’s it. You’re not my boss. Right?"
