Shinon stood at his forge, the orange glow of the coals reflecting in his focused eyes. Beside him lay a stack of Lunarisite ingots. His eyes were fixated on the silvery material as he went through the list of creations to figure out the best way to use Lunarisite.

As he held a small ingot, Shinon’s fingers traced the intricate patterns etched on its surface. The Lunarisite glead under the forge’s light, its shimring properties hinting at its potential.

mories of his previous life, before he had been transmigrated to this world of the undead, flashed before his eyes.

Back then, he had created countless weapons, one of which was called the ’Silent Death.’ It was a grenade-like device that released a cloud of corrosive smoke, spreading in a wide area and forcing even the toughest of armours to lt within seconds.

Not only that, it could also lt soone’s skin, muscles and even bones. Leaving nothing but a gooey ss of a being behind.

In fact, it was one of his only two creations banned by the United Nations Council for Dungeon Managent, UNCDM for short, as it was too dangerous to be deployed as it could be misused by anyone who got their hands on it.

Despite the ban, the UNCDM attempted to replicate the technology in secret, hoping to harness its potential without Shinon’s involvent. Their arrogance led to a disastrous outco when the replicated grenade malfunctioned, resulting in the tragic deaths of all eleven personnel in the testing room.

The incident revealed the folly of their actions, and UNCDM found themselves in a difficult position. Initially, they wanted to imprison Shinon, blaming him for creating the deadly technology.

However, the truth behind the disaster ca to light, exposing the council’s hypocrisy and negligence.UNCDM was left with no choice but to offer a public apology to Shinon for their wrongful accusation.

Moreover, they were forced to pay him a substantial sum of one billion dollars as compensation for the ntal harassnt he endured during their investigation. Additionally, the paynt served as restitution for the theft of his ideas, acknowledging his rightful ownership of the technology.

"Those were fun tis, but there’s no UNCDM here to stop from using Silent Death against zombies or... Aric," Shinon mumbled, placing the ingot back on the table. "I wonder if I can create sothing similar with Lunarisite."

He knew that Lunarisite had unique properties, capable of storing highly corrosive substances without being affected, making it perfect for creating a new generation of weaponry.

However, he would require quite a few materials in order to start working on the grenade. Once again, it was ti to call his resource factory... General Ironheart.

Without delay, he reached for the radio transceiver on his workbench and activated it. A crackling sound filled the air, and a familiar voice bood from the other side.

"This is General Ironheart."

~~~
"You need what?" ca General Ironheart’s incredulous voice.
Shinon paused to compose himself before repeating his request, "A few litres of corrosive acids, General. I understand it’s an unexpected and unusual demand. But I assure you, the end product I have in mind will please you to no extent."
There was a brief pause on the other end of the radio, and Shinon imagined the General raising an eyebrow in surprise.
General Ironheart was known for his no-nonsense attitude and strict protocol adherence, but he also respected Shinon’s craft and ingenuity. After all, that was why he preferred forming an alliance with Shinon instead of the Phoenixes.
"You better have a damn good reason for this, Shinon," the General finally responded. "Corrosive acids are not sothing we stock in our standard inventory, you know."
"I am well aware of that, General," Shinon replied confidently. "I have discovered a way to use the corrosive acids to create a silent and highly lethal grenade. It will give our forces a significant advantage on the battlefield. Especially against the undead."
He could almost hear the General’s mind working as he considered the proposition. Shinon almost expected the General to start yelling at him, but the response surprised him.
"Alright, give a day or two, and I’ll see what I can do," Ironheart grumbled. "But you owe a detailed explanation of your plans, Shinon. And rember, any misuse of these acids will not be taken lightly."
"You have my word, General," Shinon said, relieved that his request had been considered. "I promise to handle them with the utmost care and responsibility."
With the conversation concluded, Shinon leaned back against his workbench, exhaling deeply as he let out his frustration.
"That’s why I never liked dealing with the governnt or the military," Shinon muttered, rolling his eyes. "The fuckers worry too much about the littlest things!"
Shinon had always been a free spirit, and working with authorities often felt like a burden. He valued his craft and creativity, and being constrained by rules and regulations felt suffocating. However, he also knew that sotis he needed their resources to pursue his visions.
As much as Shinon was thankful to the General for providing him with what he needed, he knew it wouldn’t be a profitable endeavour for him.
Taking things from the General ant every drop of acid would need accounting, making crafting grenades for personal use more complicated. He knew he had to find an alternative source of acids, one that only he would know of.
"Wait a minute! Acid-spitters! How could I forget about those pesky undead bastards!?" Shinon exclaid, a glimr of excitent in his eyes.
Acid-spitters were a unique kind of undead that he had encountered in the past. These grueso creatures had the ability to spew corrosive acid at their victims, and while they were a threat to others, to Shinon, they represented an opportunity. Their acidic attacks were potent and could be harvested for his crafting needs.
"I’ve got two options here," Shinon mused, a cunning plan taking shape. "I could attempt to capture those acid spitters alive, luring them into my domain and extracting the acid at leisure. Or I could take a more direct approach and hunt them down for their glands, extracting the acid right from the source."
The more Shinon considered the options, the more he leaned towards the forr. Capturing the acid spitters alive might prove tricky, but that would give him an infinite amount of acid reservoir he could access at any ti.
"Eh, I’ll think about it later. First, let’s hunt down as many of those bastards as I can."
