As Shinon faced off against the formidable Stone Guardians, he wielded the Mastersmith’s hamr with determination.

His sword had proven ineffective against their impenetrable stony armour, but perhaps the ancient hamr held the key to their defeat. With each swing, he hoped to find a weakness, a way to bypass their impervious defence.

The clash of tal against stone reverberated through the chamber as Shinon unleashed a flurry of strikes, his movents fueled by adrenaline and the desire to overco the seemingly insurmountable challenge.

The Stone Guardians retaliated with equal ferocity, their massive fists crashing down with trendous force.

However, with each strike, Shinon’s frustration grew. The thick armour of the guardians showed no signs of damage, and any cracks that did appear continued to heal quickly.

The situation seed dire, and Shinon knew he needed to devise a different strategy. But while he tried to co up with a plan, one of the guardians flanked him.

Just as he was about to be struck by one of the statues’ heavy fists, Shinon acted swiftly. With a surge of concentration, he summoned several shadow shields around him, forming a protective barrier at the last mont.

The statue’s punch collided with the shields, sending a shockwave through the chamber. Though the impact was blocked, the sheer force of the blow flung Shinon back, crashing into the chamber walls.

"What’s... with that power...?"

Groaning as he shook off the disorientation, Shinon’s eyes caught sight of the inscriptions on the walls. They hadn’t been there before, which ant their appearance coincided with the awakening of the statues.

A glimr of hope sparked within Shinon as he realised these enigmatic symbols could be the key to unravelling the mystery behind the invincibility of the statues.

His mind racing, Shinon approached the walls, his gaze scanning the inscriptions. The ancient language was foreign to him, but he couldn’t dismiss the possibility that they held vital information about the statues and their weaknesses. He knew he had to decipher their aning, even if it ant taking risks.

However, there was a problem. The statue won’t leave Shinon in peace while he spent god know how long making so sense out of the inscriptions on the walls.

"Wait... I can use them!"

With a deep breath, he closed his eyes and called upon the power of his shadow manipulation. Shadows writhed and twisted around him, taking on the forms of two familiar companions: Shadowfang and Darkwing.

"Shadowfang, Darkwing," Shinon addressed them with a firm tone. "Distract those darned statues while I decipher the inscriptions on the walls. Keep them occupied, but be careful not to engage directly unless necessary."

The panther and the eagle nodded in understanding, their gleaming eyes fixed on Shinon as they awaited their following instructions.

"Shadowfang, I want you to circle around the statues and unleash your stealth abilities. Confuse them with your shadowy movents, keeping them off balance. Use your agility to evade their attacks."

The little panther wasted no ti obeying Shinon’s commands and rushed to bite one of the statues in the legs before running away and attacking from behind. As the creature got busy, Shinon turned his attention towards the eagle.

"Darkwing, take advantage of your flying and create a diversion. Attack from above and keep their attention focused on you. Together, create as much chaos as possible so that they don’t even rember about ."

As Shadowfang and Darkwing executed their assigned tasks, Shinon approached the inscriptions again, his eyes fixed on the ancient symbols. He concentrated, his mind focused on unlocking the secrets they held.

"Co on," he muttered to himself, his voice filled with determination. "I should have taken a lesson or two on archaeology..."

The battle between the statues and the shadow creatures intensified with each passing mont.

Shadowfang darted around the statues, launching surprise attacks and disappearing into the darkness before they could retaliate. Darkwing swooped down, its talons scraping against the stony armour, causing sparks to fly.

Amidst the chaos, Shinon’s eyes scanned the inscriptions, searching for patterns and hints. He ran his fingers along the symbols, feeling the cool stone beneath his touch.

The battle peaked as the statues, frustrated by the elusive prey, lashed out with thunderous roars. Shadowfang and Darkwing evaded their attacks with calculated precision, synchronising with Shinon’s focus on the inscriptions.

Unbeknownst to Shinon, the inscriptions were divided into two categories—one that granted the statues additional strength and resilience and another that held the potential to weaken them. However, lacking knowledge of the ancient language, he was oblivious to this crucial distinction.

Shinon randomly selected an inscription, striking it with the Mastersmith’s hamr. The symbol seed to respond, glowing faintly beneath his touch. A power surge flowed through the chamber, and the statues grew even more formidable.

"No!" Shinon exclaid, realising the gravity of his mistake.

He had unwittingly granted the statues more power, and now his shadow companions were at risk.

"Shadowfang, Darkwing, get out of there!" Shinon yelled, but it was too late for them to escape anymore.

In that instant, the statues unleashed a devastating onslaught, their massive fists crashing down upon Shadowfang and Darkwing with a force that shook the chamber.

The shadow pets fought valiantly, but the enhanced strength of the statues proved overwhelming for them to handle.

Shadowfang, being the nimble and agile panther, evaded the initial strikes with graceful leaps and bounds. However, the statues adjusted their tactics, anticipating the creature’s movents and carefully cornering it.

A mont later, a thunderous blow landed, sending Shadowfang tumbling through the air, its form dissipating into shadows as it vanished.

Darkwing, the loyal and swift eagle soared through the chamber, attempting to distract the statues with lightning-fast swoops and sharp talon strikes.

But the enhanced power of the statue’s armour deflected its attacks effortlessly. With a resounding thud, Darkwing was swatted aside, crashing into the chamber wall before fading away, leaving only a faint echo of its presence.

"I can summon them again? That’s... unexpected." Shinon sighed in relief as he thought he had lost the summons forever. "But that doesn’t an I’m going to let this go, you hulking fucks!"
