At that mont, the head nurse ca over to draw blood from Ye Xingguang. Seeing the needle pierce her hand, Ye Junqing’s heart clenched as if the needle had entered his own heart. Subconsciously, he reached out to cover her eyes.
Watching her red blood being drawn, sothing primal stirred within Ye Junqing, like a beast longing to break out of its cage, desperate to suck in a breath. Damn it, he clenched his hand tightly, letting the pain of his nails digging into his skin provide a mont of lucidity.
