Chapter 406: Then, I’ll Move Out!_1

Holy crap, upon hearing his brother’s words, Ye Xingguang couldn’t help but want to curse. He had thought his sister was gentle, but it turned out her gentleness was selective – if she were Doctor Chang, she would definitely want to kick her big brother away. How could he be so overbearing?

Dr. Chang was a married woman, and her husband was none other than Dr. Bo Jingyu whom she was financially supporting!

Chang Danran, however, had no choice. She had finally seen her son. If she didn’t follow him now, she wouldn’t even be able to find his shadow, not to ntion the chance of getting her son back.

Besides, Chang Danran couldn’t fool her own heart.

Before she ca to the capital, Bo Jingyu had told her, “If you want to divorce, co find .”

She said she didn’t want to divorce.

Bo Jingyu seed to laugh at her insincerity. After five years, she still hadn’t moved on. Once she saw Xia Ye Zhao, her heart was thrown into turmoil. She felt her life was over.

Chang Danran felt she was pathetic, her heart in turmoil as she watched Xia Ye Zhao striding ahead. Under the moonlight, his silhouette was just like how she rembered it, captivating.

Yet, they had long broken up and there was absolutely no future between them. She had never fantasized about providing him with a son, giving them a second chance. Now, she was following him. Moving to his place, what was happening?

Finally, they arrived at where Xia Ye Zhao’s car was parked at the hospital. Seeing her son had taken her grandson back, Wang Zii gave a sigh of relief. But when she saw Chang Danran trailing behind her son, her face instantly hardened.

“Why is she here again? I tell you, she swindled so much money from our family and left you. I absolutely won’t give her our grandchild. Your father and I are firm on this, there’s no room for discussion!”

Even though his mother was speaking the truth, Xia Ye Zhao disliked her words. He instructed his driver, “Take my mom ho.”

Then he walked away, heading outside the hospital.

Wang Zii shouted at his retreating figure: “Ye Zhao, where are you going? Don’t let that vixen bewitch you again. I tell you, I will never allow her to step into our house, especially now that she’s a married woman!”

Without turning his head, Xia Ye Zhao gripped Chang Danran’s hand and said, “Then I’ll move out!”

Xia Ye Zhao led Chang Danran to the entrance of the hospital, hailing a cab.

Once the taxi stopped, he lowered his head and looked at Chang Danran, whose hair was a bit ssy, “Get in.”

“Where are you taking us?”

“You’ll know once you get in.”

Grudgingly, Chang Danran got into the car. She listened as he gave the driver an address, “Driver, we’re heading to Yu Jia Garden.”

Hearing these four words, Chang Danran’s heart trembled. Yu Jia Garden, those four words felt so familiar.

She loved high-rise apartnts. Yu Jia Garden was a very upscale skyscraper in the city. He had bought her an apartnt on the 21st floor there, complete with a twelve-ter-long balcony and a bedroom with an entire wall made of floor-to-ceiling windows. The layout was her favorite.

He had said, if she liked living in a high-rise, then this apartnt would be their marital ho.

Back then, she was attending the best dical school in the capital. The life of a dical student was incredibly busy, but considering it was going to be their future marital ho, she made ti to supervise the renovation of the apartnt.

Xia Ye Zhao had suggested hiring a company to take care of the entire renovation since it would be easier, but she wanted to be involved in the decoration of their marital ho. So, she chose the half-package option, personally visiting furniture markets to buy materials. Even though she was exhausted, she found joy in it.
