Her mother, feeling sorry for her grandson, pointed to the closed door to the children’s room. “He locked himself in and wouldn’t let in. He keeps saying that he can manage on his own. What can such a young child handle? Take this bowl of dicine to him. He’ll be fine once he drinks it.”
