Throughout the morning, Lord Ye had not found an opportunity to have a private conversation with his father-in-law. “Why did you lock the door?”

“I am human, but I can give you the Initial Embrace, which can save your life. The price is the future thirst for blood. It’s hard to resist. At least for , I can’t control it.”
