No one knows how long it took, but the sound of a car engine shutting off was heard in the courtyard. Xia Naitang took a sip, “It’s good, really good.”
Lin Hanfeng felt a pang of tenderness, “You probably haven’t had water or food in a while, so anything tastes good to you now. When we get ho, I’ll have the family prepare fresh-pressed juice for you, with any fruits you want.”
Lin Hanfeng signaled the driver to keep driving, and soon, the car arrived back at the Lin household, and the engine stopped again.
